I love all of the sneakers in the LeBron range because they offer great looks with no leather. I have the last 3 releases. So when these arrived I purchased 2 customised pairs. First thing I noticed is compared to other sneakers in the range these are tight! So tight my feet hurt after only 20 minutes wearing them. I figured they needed breaking in. I was right, however, they still run tight, and I cannot wear them with thick socks.
But then a few weeks in they started to squeak, and I mean seriously loud. As in if I was walking in the street I could hear the squeak above the traffic. This has rendered them unwearable. I tried to persist for a few weeks because they are not cheap. But I was getting funny looks. At work it was embarrassing. Soldier 12 Velcro doesn't stay put like Soldier 11

I bought a pair of Soldier 11 shoes, with the 4 strap design for my son. After loving the look, feel, and ease of the shoe, I bought my other son a pair not realizing the 12 had a new zig zag strap. While he has narrow feet, and the loop never broke (a problem for others), the Velcro constantly popped off. He was always stopping in drills to fix it or flopping around in games until he could push it back down.
It pops open when he walks and he doesn't have a wide foot.
We are buying a shoes outside of the LeBron line for basketball this year.

Love the shoe, but was disappointed with the strap holster on the left side, seems to be weak and feels like it will break if pulled to hard. It’s unfortunate that NIKE didn’t do a better job with this, because the straps should as secure as shoe laces on these soliders.
