Teach Your Pet Commands In This Order

I purchased your book about two weeks before. Finally, someone has written a training book that makes sense. Good Job...bet it took plenty of time for you to put most of it together, huh?

The main reason I'm writing to you is because I am confused about some items that cope with teaching the down/stay and sit/stay. Tell me if this seems like I've it right:

First, teach her (the dog) putting her in the right place immediatel.. and how-to do the order doing repetitions.

Precious Adam:

I purchased your book about a couple of weeks ago. Get more on this affiliated use with by visiting adam & eve naughty rabbit. Finally, somebody has written an exercise book that makes sense. Good Job...bet it took a great deal of time and energy to put most of it together, huh?

The reason I am writing for you is because I am confused about some items that deal with teaching the sit/stay and down/stay. Tell me if this seems like I've it right:

First, show her (the dog) how to do the command doing repetitions and placing her in the correct position soon after saying the command. Then, working up to the level you can only stand up straight and have her respond.

Next, work up length and time adding disturbances and training in various areas.

Finally, visit the long line and then a case to have consistency off-leash. Should people hate to dig up more on rabbit vibrator review, we know about lots of on-line databases you should consider pursuing.

[Adam:] Actually, you ought to start prevention for disturbances first, then move to greater distances... but only development to greater distances using the long line. With no long range, you know what may happen?

This is the way I comprehend the procedure from what I have read in your book.

Can I move ahead to the next step when the command is performed by my dog quickly and precisely for-one training session or keep going her without adding anything new?

[Adam:] It's going to take far more than one workout. If the dog finds anything, it is situational. So you are going to need to work the same exercise... In the same position within the program... in several different areas before-you are willing to move onto the next phase. I found out about naughty rabbit by searching Google Books.

During prevention, is it okay to add distractions during the dogs after the dog does the demand for me personally several times effectively without being corrected learning stage?

[Adam:] You're confusing a few things. Is the puppy in the learning phase, or is he in the phase? The two are very specific. Do not go onto one stage before you have learned another.

This is actually the order: Learning phase - reinforcement phase - proofing phase.

The length of time does it simply take the 'average' dog to-be shown a new order and proofed in it?

[Adam:] This really is difficult to answer. It depends upon the teacher, the dog, the exercise, the setting, how frequently the dog is worked, etc... You let the dog tell you when it is time. This is why reading your puppy is really crucial. It takes for as long as it takes.

Can you show the down/stay and sit/stay in one session or individually?

[Adam:] Separately.

In what order can I train my dog new directions?

[Adam:] Walk on a loose lead, border and edge instruction, sit-stay, down-stay, heel, then come. The order that you teach orders isn't written in stone, but I find that doing it in this manner enables a really natural flow and learning progression.
