Getting expired domains for PR,

Ive done some studies over the past month or two about expiring domains with PR to see if it is worth your while to catch these expired and wiped domains.

My idea why I would like to use expired domains could be the thought that old domains are preferred than new domains, and to get quick PR.

So I set out to find deleted domains with PR that I will register. One characteristic of domains I was trying to find was that the area still had a, and it was still listed in google.

I will not be mentioning the actual domains here as I need to control the outcomes and prevent folks from making backlinks to these domains. For fresh information, you are encouraged to check-out: linklicious vs lindexed.

I registered about 4 domains, some have PR2 and PR3. Some have a few pages found, some have a few thousand. Linklicious Vs Backlink Booster contains new information about where to see this hypothesis. I also ordered a couple of new areas for my new projects.

I learned that google seldom visits these domains so I want to prime it but with some fresh backlinks. After producing some backlinks to these domains, two domains ultimately lost their PR. These two domains have only a few pages found in google. In a single domain, I did so a 301 permanent direct to the newest index page. Its PR was retained by this domain. One crucial huge difference this domain has compared to the other two is that this domain has thousands of pages indexed in google.

In another domain, I did so a 301 and redirect it to a fresh new domain. The result is that the new domain got indexed more and faster pages were indexed when compared with another new domain I listed at the same time frame. But, PR was right down to 0.

There's also an incident where I did a 301 redirect from a classic deleted domain with PR and never got any benefit from it.

To conclude, there's still contradictory results on whether buying deleted/expired domains. Some works, some don't. Nevertheless, what seem to work is that

a. Old delete domains does contain traffic from existing backlinks. It still does generate some traffic, if the old site has a lot of backlinks. In case people wish to discover more on linklicious pro, there are millions of resources you should investigate. Discover further on this partner URL by visiting linklicious seo.

b. Other se's such as yahoo and bing don't seem to have an biases against expired/deleted areas..
