I have a client that has only used a dog. The dog is adjusting to its new apartment, but is shouting a little once the manager leaves. A friend of hers has given a citronella collar for her to test.

My question is: Will there be any health concerns with using the collar in terms of the spray getting back in the eyes or lungs?

I'd love to hear about individuals activities with-the collars whether they are negative or positive.

They've a tendency to jam up. Not to mention run out of spray. And - even though it probably will not kill the dog - who-knows what spraying that material to them and nose will do over a period of time.

Essentially, the dog would only have to be sprayed a few times and then he had learn how to never bark while wearing the collar. But just like a worm eats through a discarded balogna meal everyone else I know appears to get through the refill spray bottles. And this could suggest the correction from the spray is simply motivational enough to get the dog to stop the existing event of the behavior, but isn't motivational enough to make him remember to not take action later.

I will suggest the Tri-Tronics Bark Limiter. It's an excellent product (it gives the dog a mild surprise when h-e barks) and it works perfectly. Here is another web search o-n google.com.

P.S. If you have already got the Citronella collar... Visiting study strapless dildo seemingly provides suggestions you could tell your friend. We found out about site by browsing Yahoo. go ahead and try it and see if it works for you. It's not going to kill your dog over-night. ;-) And you may just get lucky and find that one or two sprays will be all that you need to control the behavior... if your pet features a fairly gentle temperament to start with.
