To experience a traditional tea ceremony in a quaint teahouse setting, head to Tea Chapter. Enjoy little cups of Chinese tea while appreciating the calligraphy, paintings and art pieces onf display. You’ll have to remove your shoes before entering to add to the homely ambience and then choose onfe of three seating styles-Chinese, Korean or Japanese.

7. Yixing Xuan Teahouse

Yixing means a happy relaxing place, while xuan is a small house-sounds like a perfect de-stress place?
According to the website, Queen Elizabeth ll and Prince Phillip visited the teahouse in 1991, so if you want to learn more about chinese tea art and tea appreciation, this is the place. Tea workshops are held regularly.
8. Zam Zam Restaurant

Being Singaporean, how could we not mention the good old teh tarik in any article about tea.
The frothy, milky, sweet brew here is still a favourite with the supper club, who head to the century-old Zam Zam for their famous murtabaks. Just keep your calorie-counter at home.
