Múm，來自冰島，由四個中產階級家庭的孩子組成，
他們和其他同齡人一樣有自己的煩惱，一樣普通。
他們有著平常的名字，就像其他人一樣。
他們溫和平淡的努力驅除束縛著冰島樂團的某種神話。
相對奇特的地方也只是樂隊成員中的兩個女孩兒是一對雙胞胎。

也許Múm的音樂，是孩子看世界的觀點。也許Múm的音樂，是孩子的童話書。他們一樣來自冰島，和Sigur Rós一樣有著冷冰冰的音樂；不同的是，Múm多了分稚氣，從「I am 9 today」開始。四個孩子，Gunnar Örn Tynes,、Örvar Þóreyjarson Smárason,、Kristín Anna Valtýsdóttir及Gyða Valtýsdóttir，其中Kristín與Gyða是一對孿生姐妹，來自柏林與雷克亞維克。對生命的疑惑、對成長的苦惱，Múm全用他們的音樂仔細記錄下來。童年時，Kristín與Gyða都曾受過正統古典音樂的訓練，主修鋼琴與大提琴。而Örvar靠著父母親給予的第一部電腦開始玩起音樂；Gunni最有趣的是曾經著迷於hardcore。僅管是四個截然不同的個性，但當他們於一九九八年決定走在一起組織Múm樂隊後，許多不可思議的音樂狂想也緊跟著誕生。
從以往的純音樂演奏過渡到配備人聲主唱的Electronica的風格，
Green grass of tunnel就是在夢幻般柔美的雙主唱人聲與絃樂的交融之中，
將你帶入廣闊的宇宙，去尋找，去摸索自己的精神歸宿。
此外，專輯中還能聽到悠揚的大提琴與陰霾的手風琴穿插其中、
交相輝映，We have a map of the piano即由多種原聲樂器穿插而成，
營造出的無數感情交錯穿插，其美感猶如在海底睡眠而不會溺水。
