苗栗客運第三波續購4輛凱勝綠能電動巴士，26日在苗客保養廠舉行交車儀式，國內交車數已突破百輛大關。縣長徐耀昌及監理、運輸界人士都到場見證，肯定苗客累計添購10輛綠能巴士加入營業，為節能減碳及愛護地球善盡社會責任，也象徵凱勝電動巴士的續航力與妥善率，已獲得客運業者肯定。
苗栗客運大手筆添購凱勝綠能科技表示，日益嚴重的空汙問題，讓國人全年中有近半年生活在紫爆的有害環境中，進而影響全民健康，如何改善空汙威脅已是當前重要議題，公司生產高品質的綠能電動巴士，可迎合公車全面電動化政策方針。苗客董事長黃雲熙與總務科長唐順峯大方分享添購使用電動巴士的心得指出，苗客2014年購進首批2輛凱勝電動公車，連同第二波4輛共有6輛，4年來累計行駛100多萬公里，單輛最高行駛25萬公里，減少二氧化碳排放2.45萬公斤，電池也幾無衰退，妥善率與柴油車無異，因此再斥資5160萬元添購4輛。綠能公共運輸里程碑凱勝董事長陳怡仁表示，感謝苗客與其他用戶的肯定，苗客4年前購買國內第1輛綠能電動巴士，4年後再將98至101輛車交給苗客，這個第一與破百可說得來不易，在國內低地板公車市占率逾5成，代表承先啟後與推動綠能公共運輸的重大里程碑，未來將更兢兢業業供應運輸業者優質妥善電動巴士。行政院長賴清德宣示2030年公車全面電動化，而綠能也是時勢所趨，這場交車儀式除凱勝與苗客董事長和幹部之外，縣長徐耀昌、頭份市長徐定禎、BYD亞太區總經理劉學亮、新竹監理所長林翠蓉及各地重要客運業者都到場見證盛會。「電動車的時代到了！」徐耀昌等人認為，發展綠能響應節能減碳，是地球上每一分子的共同責任，樂見愈來愈多企業也善盡社會責任。陳怡仁形容，如果凱勝綠能是千里馬，那麼苗栗客運就是伯樂。(中國時報)
