因應元旦連假 台鐵將加開286班車
【台灣醒報記者張朝瑋台北報導】隨著元旦連假即將到來，台鐵於10日宣布，自今年12月28日至明年1月2日共6天的時間內，全線將加開各級列車總計286班，並於12月14日凌晨0時起開放訂票。
為因應此次共有四天元旦連假，台鐵於10日正式公布疏運計畫，此次加開的286班車次中，東部幹線為105班、西部幹線是153班，南迴則有28班，而東部地區自12月29日至1月1日，亦會加開樹林─花蓮的對號區間快車8班，並提供北宜100元、北花200元的優惠票價。
此外，為提升連假期間的花東運能，台鐵營業科科長王文謙進一步表示，將於12月28日至明年1月1日期間，發售東線（含跨線）新自強號無座票，每班限量發售120張，且僅於乘車當日於車站售票窗口發售，不提前預售；同時為加強疏運效能，於12月28日至1月2日期間，將暫停發售親子車廂車票，改為一般車廂方式售票。
在媒體聯訪中，台鐵被詢問到此次加開計畫是否有受到普悠瑪事件及雙駕駛政策的影響，王文謙表示，此次加開班次跟過去比較起來，只少了出事的普悠瑪員負責的班次，且目前台鐵人力足夠應付加開期間的雙駕駛人力，並不會有所影響，乘客可以放心。
