1:3    他 是 　 神 榮 耀 所 發 的 光 輝 、 是 　 神 本 體 的 真 像 、 常 用 他 權 能 的 命 令 托 住 萬 有 、 他 洗 淨 了 人 的 罪 、 就 坐 在 高 天 至 大 者 的 右 邊 ． 
1:4    他 所 承 受 的 名 、 既 比 天 使 的 名 更 尊 貴 、 就 遠 超 過 天 使 。 
1:5    所 有 的 天 使 、 　 神 從 來 對 那 一 個 說 、 『 你 是 我 的 兒 子 、 我 今 日 生 你 。 』 又 指 著 那 一 個 說 、 『 我 要 作 他 的 父 、 他 要 作 我 的 子 。 』 
1:6    再 者 、 　 神 使 長 子 到 世 上 來 的 時 候 、 〔 或 作 　 神 再 使 長 子 到 世 上 來 的 時 候 〕 就 說 、 『 　 神 的 使 者 都 要 拜 他 。 』 
1:7    論 到 使 者 、 又 說 、 『 　 神 以 風 為 使 者 、 以 火 焰 為 僕 役 。 』 
1:8    論 到 子 卻 說 、 『 　 神 阿 、 你 的 寶 座 是 永 永 遠 遠 的 、 你 的 國 權 是 正 直 的 。 
1:9    你 喜 愛 公 義 、 恨 惡 罪 惡 ． 所 以 　 神 、 就 是 你 的 　 神 、 用 喜 樂 油 膏 你 、 勝 過 膏 你 的 同 伴 。 』 
1:10    又 說 、 『 主 阿 、 你 起 初 立 了 地 的 根 基 、 天 也 是 你 手 所 造 的 ． 
1:11    天 地 都 要 滅 沒 、 你 卻 要 長 存 ． 天 地 都 要 像 衣 服 漸 漸 舊 了 ． 
1:12    你 要 將 天 地 捲 起 來 、 像 一 件 外 衣 、 天 地 就 都 改 變 了 ． 惟 有 你 永 不 改 變 、 你 的 年 數 沒 有 窮 盡 。 』 
1:13    所 有 的 天 使 、 　 神 從 來 對 那 一 個 說 、 『 你 坐 在 我 的 右 邊 、 等 我 使 你 仇 敵 作 你 的 腳 凳 。 』 
1:14    天 使 豈 不 都 是 服 役 的 靈 、 奉 差 遣 為 那 將 要 承 受 救 恩 的 人 效 力 麼 。

    [bbe]  To which of the angels did God say at any time, You are my Son, this day I have given you being? or, I will be his Father, and he will be my Son?

1:7 [hb5]  論 到 使 者 、 又 說 、 『 　 神 以 風 為 使 者 、 以 火 焰 為 僕 役 。 』 
    [kjv]  And of the angels he saith, Who maketh his angels spirits, and his ministers a flame of fire.
    [bbe]  And of the angels he says, Who makes his angels winds, and his servants flames of fire:
1:8 [hb5]  論 到 子 卻 說 、 『 　 神 阿 、 你 的 寶 座 是 永 永 遠 遠 的 、 你 的 國 權 是 正 直 的 。 
    [kjv]  But unto the Son he saith, Thy throne, O God, is for ever and ever: a sceptre of righteousness is the sceptre of thy kingdom.
    [bbe]  But of the Son he says, Your seat of power, O God, is for ever and ever; and the rod of your kingdom is a rod of righteousness.
1:9 [hb5]  你 喜 愛 公 義 、 恨 惡 罪 惡 ． 所 以 　 神 、 就 是 你 的 　 神 、 用 喜 樂 油 膏 你 、 勝 過 膏 你 的 同 伴 。 』 
    [kjv]  Thou hast loved righteousness, and hated iniquity; therefore God, even thy God, hath anointed thee with the oil of gladness above thy fellows.
    [bbe]  You have been a lover of righteousness and a hater of evil; and so God, your God, has put the oil of joy on your head more than on the heads of those who are with you.
1:10 [hb5]  又 說 、 『 主 阿 、 你 起 初 立 了 地 的 根 基 、 天 也 是 你 手 所 造 的 ． 
    [kjv]  And, Thou, Lord, in the beginning hast laid the foundation of the earth; and the heavens are the works of thine hands:
    [bbe]  You, Lord, at the first did put the earth on its base, and the heavens are the works of your hands:
1:11 [hb5]  天 地 都 要 滅 沒 、 你 卻 要 長 存 ． 天 地 都 要 像 衣 服 漸 漸 舊 了 ． 
    [kjv]  They shall perish; but thou remainest; and they all shall wax old as doth a garment;
    [bbe]  They will come to their end; but you are for ever; they will become old as a robe;
1:12 [hb5]  你 要 將 天 地 捲 起 來 、 像 一 件 外 衣 、 天 地 就 都 改 變 了 ． 惟 有 你 永 不 改 變 、 你 的 年 數 沒 有 窮 盡 。 』 
    [kjv]  And as a vesture shalt thou fold them up, and they shall be changed: but thou art the same, and thy years shall not fail.
    [bbe]  They will be rolled up like a cloth, even like a robe, and they will be changed: but you are the same and your years will have no end.
1:13 [hb5]  所 有 的 天 使 、 　 神 從 來 對 那 一 個 說 、 『 你 坐 在 我 的 右 邊 、 等 我 使 你 仇 敵 作 你 的 腳 凳 。 』 
    [kjv]  But to which of the angels said he at any time, Sit on my right hand, until I make thine enemies thy footstool?
    [bbe]  But of which of the angels has he said at any time, Take your seat at my right hand till I put all those who are against you under your feet?
1:14 [hb5]  天 使 豈 不 都 是 服 役 的 靈 、 奉 差 遣 為 那 將 要 承 受 救 恩 的 人 效 力 麼 。 
    [kjv]  Are they not all ministering spirits, sent forth to minister for them who shall be heirs of salvation?
    [bbe]  Are they not all helping spirits, who are sent out as servants to those whose heritage will be salvation?

2:1 [hb5]  所 以 我 們 當 越 發 鄭 重 所 聽 見 的 道 理 、 恐 怕 我 們 隨 流 失 去 。 
    [kjv]  Therefore we ought to give the more earnest heed to the things which we have heard, lest at any time we should let them slip.
    [bbe]  For this reason there is the more need for us to give attention to the things which have come to our ears, for fear that by chance we might be slipping away.
2:2 [hb5]  那 藉 著 天 使 所 傳 的 話 、 既 是 確 定 的 、 凡 干 犯 悖 逆 的 、 都 受 了 該 受 的 報 應 ． 
    [kjv]  For if the word spoken by angels was stedfast, and every transgression and disobedience received a just recompence of reward;
    [bbe]  Because if the word which came through the angels was fixed, and in the past every evil act against God's orders was given its full punishment;
2:3 [hb5]  我 們 若 忽 略 這 麼 大 的 救 恩 、 怎 能 逃 罪 呢 ． 這 救 恩 起 先 是 主 親 自 講 的 、 後 來 是 聽 見 的 人 給 我 們 證 實 了 ． 
    [kjv]  How shall we escape, if we neglect so great salvation; which at the first began to be spoken by the Lord, and was confirmed unto us by them that heard him;
    [bbe]  What will come on us, if we do not give our minds to such a great salvation? a salvation of which our fathers first had knowledge through the words of the Lord, and which was made certain to us by those to whom his words came;
2:4 [hb5]  　 神 又 按 自 己 的 旨 意 、 用 神 蹟 奇 事 、 和 百 般 的 異 能 、 並 聖 靈 的 恩 賜 、 同 他 們 作 見 證 。 
    [kjv]  God also bearing them witness, both with signs and wonders, and with divers miracles, and gifts of the Holy Ghost, according to his own will?
    [bbe]  And God was a witness with them, by signs and wonders, and by more than natural powers, and by his distribution of the Holy Spirit at his pleasure.
2:5 [hb5]  我 們 所 說 將 來 的 世 界 、 　 神 原 沒 有 交 給 天 使 管 轄 。 
    [kjv]  For unto the angels hath he not put in subjection the world to come, whereof we speak.
    [bbe]  For he did not make the angels rulers over the world to come, of which I am writing.
2:6 [hb5]  但 有 人 在 經 上 某 處 證 明 說 、 『 人 算 甚 麼 、 你 竟 顧 念 他 、 世 人 算 甚 麼 、 你 竟 眷 顧 他 ． 
    [kjv]  But one in a certain place testified, saying, What is man, that thou art mindful of him? or the son of man, that thou visitest him?
    [bbe]  But a certain writer has given his witness, saying, What is man, that you keep him in mind? what is the son of man, that you take him into account?
2:7 [hb5]  你 叫 他 比 天 使 微 小 一 點 、 〔 或 作 你 叫 他 暫 時 比 天 使 小 〕 賜 他 榮 耀 尊 貴 為 冠 冕 、 並 將 你 手 所 造 的 都 派 他 管 理 ． 
    [kjv]  Thou madest him a little lower than the angels; thou crownedst him with glory and honour, and didst set him over the works of thy hands:
    [bbe]  You made him a little lower than the angels; you gave him a crown of glory and honour, and made him ruler over all the works of your hands:
2:8 [hb5]  叫 萬 物 都 服 在 他 的 腳 下 。 』 既 叫 萬 物 都 服 他 、 就 沒 有 剩 下 一 樣 不 服 他 的 。 只 是 如 今 我 們 還 不 見 萬 物 都 服 他 。 
    [kjv]  Thou hast put all things in subjection under his feet. For in that he put all in subjection under him, he left nothing that is not put under him. But now we see not yet all things put under him.
    [bbe]  You put all things under his feet. For in making man the ruler over all things, God did not put anything outside his authority; though we do not see everything under him now.
2:9 [hb5]  惟 獨 見 那 成 為 比 天 使 小 一 點 的 耶 穌 、 〔 或 作 惟 獨 見 耶 穌 暫 時 比 天 使 小 〕 因 為 受 死 的 苦 、 就 得 了 尊 貴 榮 耀 為 冠 冕 、 叫 他 因 著 　 神 的 恩 、 為 人 人 嘗 了 死 味 。 
    [kjv]  But we see Jesus, who was made a little lower than the angels for the suffering of death, crowned with glory and honour; that he by the grace of God should taste death for every man.
    [bbe]  But we see him who was made a little lower than the angels, even Jesus, crowned with glory and honour, because he let himself be put to death so that by the grace of God he might undergo death for all men.
2:10 [hb5]  原 來 那 為 萬 物 所 屬 、 為 萬 物 所 本 的 、 要 領 許 多 的 兒 子 進 榮 耀 裡 去 、 使 救 他 們 的 元 帥 、 因 受 苦 難 得 以 完 全 、 本 是 合 宜 的 。 
    [kjv]  For it became him, for whom are all things, and by whom are all things, in bringing many sons unto glory, to make the captain of their salvation perfect through sufferings.
    [bbe]  Because it was right for him, for whom and through whom all things have being, in guiding his sons to glory, to make the captain of their salvation complete through pain.
2:11 [hb5]  因 那 使 人 成 聖 的 、 和 那 些 得 以 成 聖 的 、 都 是 出 於 一 ． 所 以 他 稱 他 們 為 弟 兄 、 也 不 以 為 恥 、 
    [kjv]  For both he that sanctifieth and they who are sanctified are all of one: for which cause he is not ashamed to call them brethren,
    [bbe]  For he who makes holy and those who are made holy are all of one family; and for this reason it is no shame for him to give them the name of brothers,
2:12 [hb5]  說 、 『 我 要 將 你 的 名 傳 與 我 的 弟 兄 、 在 會 中 我 要 頌 揚 你 。 』 
    [kjv]  Saying, I will declare thy name unto my brethren, in the midst of the church will I sing praise unto thee.
    [bbe]  Saying, I will give the knowledge of your name to my brothers, I will make a song of praise to you before the church.
2:13 [hb5]  又 說 、 『 我 要 倚 賴 他 。 』 又 說 、 『 看 哪 、 我 與 　 神 所 給 我 的 兒 女 。 』 
    [kjv]  And again, I will put my trust in him. And again, Behold I and the children which God hath given me.
    [bbe]  And again he says, I will put my faith in him. And again, See, I am here, and the children which God has given to me.
2:14 [hb5]  兒 女 既 同 有 血 肉 之 體 、 他 也 照 樣 親 自 成 了 血 肉 之 體 ． 特 要 藉 著 死 、 敗 壞 那 掌 死 權 的 就 是 魔 鬼 ． 
    [kjv]  Forasmuch then as the children are partakers of flesh and blood, he also himself likewise took part of the same; that through death he might destroy him that had the power of death, that is, the devil;
    [bbe]  And because the children are flesh and blood, he took a body himself and became like them; so that by his death he might put an end to him who had the power of death, that is to say, the Evil One;
2:15 [hb5]  並 要 釋 放 那 些 一 生 因 怕 死 而 為 奴 僕 的 人 。 
    [kjv]  And deliver them who through fear of death were all their lifetime subject to bondage.
    [bbe]  And let those who all their lives were in chains because of their fear of death, go free.
2:16 [hb5]  他 並 不 救 拔 天 使 、 乃 是 救 拔 亞 伯 拉 罕 的 後 裔 。 
    [kjv]  For verily he took not on him the nature of angels; but he took on him the seed of Abraham.
    [bbe]  For, truly, he does not take on the life of angels, but that of the seed of Abraham.
2:17 [hb5]  所 以 他 凡 事 該 與 他 的 弟 兄 相 同 、 為 要 在 　 神 的 事 上 、 成 為 慈 悲 忠 信 的 大 祭 司 、 為 百 姓 的 罪 獻 上 挽 回 祭 。 
    [kjv]  Wherefore in all things it behoved him to be made like unto his brethren, that he might be a merciful and faithful high priest in things pertaining to God, to make reconciliation for the sins of the people.
    [bbe]  Because of this it was necessary for him to be made like his brothers in every way, so that he might be a high priest full of mercy and keeping faith in everything to do with God, making offerings for the sins of the people.
2:18 [hb5]  他 自 己 既 然 被 試 探 而 受 苦 、 就 能 搭 救 被 試 探 的 人 。 
    [kjv]  For in that he himself hath suffered being tempted, he is able to succour them that are tempted.
    [bbe]  For having been put to the test himself, he is able to give help to others when they are tested.
3:1 [hb5]  同 蒙 天 召 的 聖 潔 弟 兄 阿 、 你 們 應 當 思 想 我 們 所 認 為 使 者 、 為 大 祭 司 的 耶 穌 ． 
    [kjv]  Wherefore, holy brethren, partakers of the heavenly calling, consider the Apostle and High Priest of our profession, Christ Jesus;
    [bbe]  For this reason, holy brothers, marked out to have a part in heaven, give thought to Jesus the representative and high priest of our faith;
3:2 [hb5]  他 為 那 設 立 他 的 盡 忠 、 如 同 摩 西 在 　 神 的 全 家 盡 忠 一 樣 。 
    [kjv]  Who was faithful to him that appointed him, as also Moses was faithful in all his house.
    [bbe]  Who kept faith with God who gave him his place, even as Moses did in all his house.
3:3 [hb5]  他 比 摩 西 算 是 更 配 多 得 榮 耀 、 好 像 建 造 房 屋 的 比 房 屋 更 尊 榮 。 
    [kjv]  For this man was counted worthy of more glory than Moses, inasmuch as he who hath builded the house hath more honour than the house.
    [bbe]  And it was right for this man to have more honour than Moses, even as the builder of a house has more honour than the house.
3:4 [hb5]  因 為 房 屋 都 必 有 人 建 造 ． 但 建 造 萬 物 的 就 是 　 神 。 
    [kjv]  For every house is builded by some man; but he that built all things is God.
    [bbe]  For every house has a builder; but the builder of all things is God.
3:5 [hb5]  摩 西 為 僕 人 、 在 　 神 的 全 家 誠 然 盡 忠 、 為 要 證 明 將 來 必 傳 說 的 事 ． 
    [kjv]  And Moses verily was faithful in all his house, as a servant, for a testimony of those things which were to be spoken after;
    [bbe]  And Moses certainly kept faith as a servant, in all his house, and as a witness of those things which were to be said later;
3:6 [hb5]  但 基 督 為 兒 子 、 治 理 　 神 的 家 ． 我 們 若 將 可 誇 的 盼 望 和 膽 量 、 堅 持 到 底 、 便 是 他 的 家 了 。 
    [kjv]  But Christ as a son over his own house; whose house are we, if we hold fast the confidence and the rejoicing of the hope firm unto the end.
    [bbe]  But Christ as a son, over his house; whose house are we, if we keep our hearts fixed in the glad and certain hope till the end.
3:7 [hb5]  聖 靈 有 話 說 、 『 你 們 今 日 若 聽 他 的 話 、 
    [kjv]  Wherefore (as the Holy Ghost saith, To day if ye will hear his voice,
    [bbe]  And so, as the Holy Spirit says, Today if you let his voice come to your ears,
3:8 [hb5]  就 不 可 硬 著 心 、 像 在 曠 野 惹 他 發 怒 、 試 探 他 的 時 候 一 樣 ． 
    [kjv]  Harden not your hearts, as in the provocation, in the day of temptation in the wilderness:
    [bbe]  Be not hard of heart, as when you made me angry, on the day of testing in the waste land,
3:9 [hb5]  在 那 裡 、 你 們 的 祖 宗 試 我 探 我 、 並 且 觀 看 我 的 作 為 、 有 四 十 年 之 久 。 
    [kjv]  When your fathers tempted me, proved me, and saw my works forty years.
    [bbe]  When your fathers put me to the test, and saw my works for forty years.
3:10 [hb5]  所 以 我 厭 煩 那 世 代 的 人 、 說 、 他 們 心 裡 常 常 迷 糊 、 竟 不 曉 得 我 的 作 為 ． 
    [kjv]  Wherefore I was grieved with that generation, and said, They do alway err in their heart; and they have not known my ways.
    [bbe]  So that I was angry with this generation, and I said, Their hearts are in error at all times, and they have no knowledge of my ways;
3:11 [hb5]  我 就 在 怒 中 起 誓 說 、 他 們 斷 不 可 進 入 我 的 安 息 。 』 
    [kjv]  So I sware in my wrath, They shall not enter into my rest.)
    [bbe]  And being angry I made an oath, saying, They may not come into my rest.
3:12 [hb5]  弟 兄 們 、 你 們 要 謹 慎 、 免 得 你 們 中 間 、 或 有 人 存 著 不 信 的 惡 心 、 把 永 生 　 神 離 棄 了 ． 
    [kjv]  Take heed, brethren, lest there be in any of you an evil heart of unbelief, in departing from the living God.
    [bbe]  My brothers, take care that there is not by chance in any one of you an evil heart without belief, turning away from the living God:
3:13 [hb5]  總 要 趁 著 還 有 今 日 、 天 天 彼 此 相 勸 、 免 得 你 們 中 間 、 有 人 被 罪 迷 惑 、 心 裡 就 剛 硬 了 。 
    [kjv]  But exhort one another daily, while it is called To day; lest any of you be hardened through the deceitfulness of sin.
    [bbe]  But give comfort to one another every day as long as it is still Today; so that no one among you may be made hard by the deceit of sin:
3:14 [hb5]  我 們 若 將 起 初 確 實 的 信 心 、 堅 持 到 底 、 就 在 基 督 裡 有 分 了 。 
    [kjv]  For we are made partakers of Christ, if we hold the beginning of our confidence stedfast unto the end;
    [bbe]  For if we keep the substance of the faith which we had at the start, even till the end, we have a part with Christ;
3:15 [hb5]  經 上 說 、 『 你 們 今 日 若 聽 他 的 話 、 就 不 可 硬 著 心 、 像 惹 他 發 怒 的 日 子 一 樣 。 』 
    [kjv]  While it is said, To day if ye will hear his voice, harden not your hearts, as in the provocation.
    [bbe]  As it is said, Today if you will let his voice come to your ears, be not hard of heart, as when you made him angry.
3:16 [hb5]  那 時 聽 見 他 話 惹 他 發 怒 的 是 誰 呢 ． 豈 不 是 跟 著 摩 西 從 埃 及 出 來 的 眾 人 麼 。 
    [kjv]  For some, when they had heard, did provoke: howbeit not all that came out of Egypt by Moses.
    [bbe]  Who made him angry when his voice came to them? was it not all those who came out of Egypt with Moses?
3:17 [hb5]  　 神 四 十 年 之 久 、 又 厭 煩 誰 呢 ． 豈 不 是 那 些 犯 罪 屍 首 倒 在 曠 野 的 人 麼 。 
    [kjv]  But with whom was he grieved forty years? was it not with them that had sinned, whose carcases fell in the wilderness?
    [bbe]  And with whom was he angry for forty years? was it not with those who did evil, who came to their deaths in the waste land?
3:18 [hb5]  又 向 誰 起 誓 、 不 容 他 們 進 入 他 的 安 息 呢 ． 豈 不 是 向 那 些 不 信 從 的 人 麼 。 
    [kjv]  And to whom sware he that they should not enter into his rest, but to them that believed not?
    [bbe]  And to whom did he make an oath that they might not come into his rest? was it not to those who went against his orders?
3:19 [hb5]  這 樣 看 來 、 他 們 不 能 進 入 安 息 、 是 因 為 不 信 的 緣 故 了 。 
    [kjv]  So we see that they could not enter in because of unbelief.
    [bbe]  So we see that they were not able to go in because they had no belief.
4:1 [hb5]  我 們 既 蒙 留 下 有 進 入 他 安 息 的 應 許 、 就 當 畏 懼 、 免 得 我 們 中 間 、 〔 我 們 原 文 作 你 們 〕 或 有 人 似 乎 是 趕 不 上 了 。 
    [kjv]  Let us therefore fear, lest, a promise being left us of entering into his rest, any of you should seem to come short of it.
    [bbe]  Let us then, though we still have God's word that we may come into his rest, go in fear that some of you may be unable to do so.
4:2 [hb5]  因 為 有 福 音 傳 給 我 們 、 像 傳 給 他 們 一 樣 ． 只 是 所 聽 見 的 道 與 他 們 無 益 、 因 為 他 們 沒 有 信 心 與 所 聽 見 的 道 調 和 。 
    [kjv]  For unto us was the gospel preached, as well as unto them: but the word preached did not profit them, not being mixed with faith in them that heard it.
    [bbe]  And, truly, the good news came to us, even as it did to them; but the hearing of the word did them no good, because they were not united in faith with the true hearers.
4:3 [hb5]  但 我 們 已 經 相 信 的 人 、 得 以 進 入 那 安 息 、 正 如 　 神 所 說 、 『 我 在 怒 中 起 誓 說 、 他 們 斷 不 可 進 入 我 的 安 息 。 』 其 實 造 物 之 工 、 從 創 世 以 來 已 經 成 全 了 。 
    [kjv]  For we which have believed do enter into rest, as he said, As I have sworn in my wrath, if they shall enter into my rest: although the works were finished from the foundation of the world.
    [bbe]  For those of us who have belief come into his rest; even as he has said, As I said in my oath when I was angry, They may not come into my rest: though the works were done from the time of the making of the world.
4:4 [hb5]  論 到 第 七 日 、 有 一 處 說 、 『 到 第 七 日 　 神 就 歇 了 他 一 切 的 工 。 』 
    [kjv]  For he spake in a certain place of the seventh day on this wise, And God did rest the seventh day from all his works.
    [bbe]  For in one place he has said of the seventh day, And God had rest from all his works on the seventh day;
4:5 [hb5]  又 有 一 處 說 、 『 他 們 斷 不 可 進 入 我 的 安 息 。 』 
    [kjv]  And in this place again, If they shall enter into my rest.
    [bbe]  And in the same place he says again, They will not come into my rest.
4:6 [hb5]  既 有 必 進 安 息 的 人 、 那 先 前 聽 見 福 音 的 、 因 為 不 信 從 、 不 得 進 去 ． 
    [kjv]  Seeing therefore it remaineth that some must enter therein, and they to whom it was first preached entered not in because of unbelief:
    [bbe]  So that as it is clear that some have to go in, and that the first hearers of the good news were not able to go in because they went against God's orders,
4:7 [hb5]  所 以 過 了 多 年 、 就 在 大 衛 的 書 上 、 又 限 定 一 日 、 如 以 上 所 引 的 說 、 『 你 們 今 日 若 聽 他 的 話 、 就 不 可 硬 著 心 。 』 
    [kjv]  Again, he limiteth a certain day, saying in David, To day, after so long a time; as it is said, To day if ye will hear his voice, harden not your hearts.
    [bbe]  After a long time, again naming a certain day, he says in David, Today (as he had said before), Today if you will let his voice come to your ears, be not hard of heart,
4:8 [hb5]  若 是 約 書 亞 已 叫 他 們 享 了 安 息 、 後 來 　 神 就 不 再 提 別 的 日 子 了 。 
    [kjv]  For if Jesus had given them rest, then would he not afterward have spoken of another day.
    [bbe]  For if Joshua had given them rest, he would not have said anything about another day.
4:9 [hb5]  這 樣 看 來 、 必 另 有 一 安 息 日 的 安 息 、 為 　 神 的 子 民 存 留 。 
    [kjv]  There remaineth therefore a rest to the people of God.
    [bbe]  So that there is still a Sabbath-keeping for the people of God.
4:10 [hb5]  因 為 那 進 入 安 息 的 、 乃 是 歇 了 自 己 的 工 、 正 如 　 神 歇 了 他 的 工 一 樣 。 
    [kjv]  For he that is entered into his rest, he also hath ceased from his own works, as God did from his.
    [bbe]  For the man who comes into his rest has had rest from his works, as God did from his.
4:11 [hb5]  所 以 我 們 務 必 竭 力 進 入 那 安 息 、 免 得 有 人 學 那 不 信 從 的 樣 子 跌 倒 了 。 
    [kjv]  Let us labour therefore to enter into that rest, lest any man fall after the same example of unbelief.
    [bbe]  Because of this, let us have a strong desire to come into that rest, and let no one go after the example of those who went against God's orders.
4:12 [hb5]  　 神 的 道 是 活 潑 的 、 是 有 功 效 的 、 比 一 切 兩 刃 的 劍 更 快 、 甚 至 魂 與 靈 、 骨 節 與 骨 髓 、 都 能 刺 入 剖 開 、 連 心 中 的 思 念 和 主 意 、 都 能 辨 明 。 
    [kjv]  For the word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any twoedged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart.
    [bbe]  For the word of God is living and full of power, and is sharper than any two-edged sword, cutting through and making a division even of the soul and the spirit, the bones and the muscles, and quick to see the thoughts and purposes of the heart.
4:13 [hb5]  並 且 被 造 的 、 沒 有 一 樣 在 他 面 前 不 顯 然 的 ． 原 來 萬 物 、 在 那 與 我 們 有 關 係 的 主 眼 前 、 都 是 赤 露 敞 開 的 。 
    [kjv]  Neither is there any creature that is not manifest in his sight: but all things are naked and opened unto the eyes of him with whom we have to do.
    [bbe]  And there is nothing made which is not completely clear to him; there is nothing covered, but all things are open to the eyes of him with whom we have to do.
4:14 [hb5]  我 們 既 然 有 一 位 已 經 升 入 高 天 尊 榮 的 大 祭 司 、 就 是 　 神 的 兒 子 耶 穌 、 便 當 持 定 所 承 認 的 道 。 
    [kjv]  Seeing then that we have a great high priest, that is passed into the heavens, Jesus the Son of God, let us hold fast our profession.
    [bbe]  Having then a great high priest, who has made his way through the heavens, even Jesus the Son of God, let us be strong in our faith.
4:15 [hb5]  因 我 們 的 大 祭 司 、 並 非 不 能 體 恤 我 們 的 軟 弱 ． 他 也 曾 凡 事 受 過 試 探 、 與 我 們 一 樣 ． 只 是 他 沒 有 犯 罪 。 
    [kjv]  For we have not an high priest which cannot be touched with the feeling of our infirmities; but was in all points tempted like as we are, yet without sin.
    [bbe]  For we have not a high priest who is not able to be touched by the feelings of our feeble flesh; but we have one who has been tested in all points as we ourselves are tested, but without sin.
4:16 [hb5]  所 以 我 們 只 管 坦 然 無 懼 的 、 來 到 施 恩 的 寶 座 前 、 為 要 得 憐 恤 、 蒙 恩 惠 作 隨 時 的 幫 助 。 
    [kjv]  Let us therefore come boldly unto the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy, and find grace to help in time of need.
    [bbe]  Then let us come near to the seat of grace without fear, so that mercy may be given to us, and we may get grace for our help in time of need.

2:3 [hb5]  我 們 若 忽 略 這 麼 大 的 救 恩 、 怎 能 逃 罪 呢 ． 這 救 恩 起 先 是 主 親 自 講 的 、 後 來 是 聽 見 的 人 給 我 們 證 實 了 ． 
    [kjv]  How shall we escape, if we neglect so great salvation; which at the first began to be spoken by the Lord, and was confirmed unto us by them that heard him;
    [bbe]  What will come on us, if we do not give our minds to such a great salvation? a salvation of which our fathers first had knowledge through the words of the Lord, and which was made certain to us by those to whom his words came;
2:4 [hb5]  　 神 又 按 自 己 的 旨 意 、 用 神 蹟 奇 事 、 和 百 般 的 異 能 、 並 聖 靈 的 恩 賜 、 同 他 們 作 見 證 。 
    [kjv]  God also bearing them witness, both with signs and wonders, and with divers miracles, and gifts of the Holy Ghost, according to his own will?
    [bbe]  And God was a witness with them, by signs and wonders, and by more than natural powers, and by his distribution of the Holy Spirit at his pleasure.
2:5 [hb5]  我 們 所 說 將 來 的 世 界 、 　 神 原 沒 有 交 給 天 使 管 轄 。=BUDDHISM! 
    [kjv]  For unto the angels hath he not put in subjection the world to come, whereof we speak.
