過去二十年來，鈦金屬一直是開球木桿科技持續演進的重要基石，而就在鈦金屬開始稱霸的年代，泰勒梅高爾夫研發團隊早已著手準備當鈦金屬面臨極限的下一步，如今，超過二十年的傾心研發，泰勒梅再次突破極限，匠心呈現搭載六十層碳纖維雙曲桿面的開球木桿-「Stealth闇影家族」，不只可以創造更優異的能量轉移與性能，更將開創高爾夫運動的全新未來！

碳纖桿面的誕生讓工程師追求減輕重量與加大桿面的夢想得以成真，當選手進行Stealth Plus、Stealth與SIM2、SIM2 Max的比較測試時，發現Stealth系列能夠帶來更快的球速，這也代表了開球木桿性能表現的新境界已全面解鎖。
台灣職業高爾夫選手林冠伯是年輕一輩長距離的代表之一，林冠伯說：「在發球台上，打遠對我來說並不是重點，因為我已經打得夠遠。但是我覺得TaylorMade的Stealth發球桿的確令人驚豔，碳纖桿面除了可以打得更遠，操控性尤其令人滿意。我已經迫不急待的希望上場去感受另一個層次的發球。」
事實上，早在二十多年前高爾夫球桿市場就曾經出現過碳纖桿面的球桿，日本品牌Daiwa（大和）就曾推出全系列碳纖維桿面的木桿與鐵桿。不過，或許受限於當時的材質與技術尚未臻成熟，並未在市場上引起熱烈迴響。如今，Stealth出現並獲得許多好評，正式宣告了碳纖時代的到來！
