國中會考首日第二科數學，題目非常生活化，包含抽卡牌、逃生繩長度換算、燈泡省電和電費等。整體而言，考生普遍認為只要把握幾本原則，要得分並不難，不過在幾何圖形上挑戰比較大。
考生指出，這次數學科前半段基礎題型多，另外像是燈泡發光功率、火災逃生緩降繩、撲克牌，與生物的細胞分裂都入題，題目內容很生活化，像是有一題實用題是問樓層消防繩垂落的長度，要考生算出從第8層降落到第1層的繩子長度。
也燈泡省不省電，與日常電費有關這些題目，在解題上不會太難。還有非選題的細菌分裂，題幹以生物概念描述，利用數學指數率求解，是數學跨生物的出題，解題過程有趣。還有撲克牌算機率。不過考生表示後半段題目開始有大量的圖形，需要耐心看懂題目再計算。整體而言，大部分考生認為今年數學比往年簡單一點。
而國中會考下午則會進行國文科及寫作測驗，明天上午考自然科及英語閱讀及聽力。
