Tonight K's family are going home. After I finished translating all the documents: death certificate and applying permit for disposition of remains, they now will carry his ashes back to Taiwan.
I tried to hold my tears when I saw the parents and wife took off, but it's just so unbareable. I remember seeing the 78 year old father stood silently on the street at dusk, shaking his head... It seems to be his only motion this week is to shake his head. He rarely eat, drink, or speak.....
Life works in a mysterious way, and I still don't know what's in God's hands for all of us. But no matter how short the life is, it is a precious life. Best wishes to K's parents, wife, brother, and the unborn baby...
