(介係詞片語：一個片語，開頭為介係詞，結尾不是介係詞 on the chair, …)




III. 注意事項：
A. 介係詞 ＋ 名詞、代名詞、動名詞 = _____________

1. 介係詞片語可作為__________用，放在被修飾的名詞_________。翻譯時，先翻『介係詞片語』再加上『的』，才翻被修飾的名詞。
I know the boy in the classroom.
The dog at the door barks.
The children in the park play.
The boys make the room out of order.
The handsome man under the tree is her uncle.
The piano is out of tune.
Tony is out of health.

2. 介係詞片語可作為__________用，放在________或________。翻譯時，先翻『介係詞片語』，才翻被飾的動詞。
I practice my English with the radio.
The children play in the garden.
He stands between Annie and me.
John runs into the house and up the stairs.
May I play ball with you?
He kisses his hand to her.
Are you fond of music?
Are you afraid of ghosts?
Are you angry with me? Are you angry at the dog?

B. up, down本身是副詞，也是介係詞。如前面有一個『不及物』動詞，則是介係詞。如前面有一個『及物』動詞，則是副詞。此時，若受詞為『人稱代名詞』，需放在片語中間。
Let's walk up the mountain. (walk 為『不及物』動詞)
Let's put down the package here. (put 為『及物』動詞)
