「壞小子」又出奇招！印地安泉大師賽男單8強17日開打，首戰由西班牙「蠻牛」納達爾（Rafael Nadal）對決澳洲「壞小子」基爾喬斯（Nick Kyrgios），沒想到基爾喬斯在發球時，突然使出胯下擊球，不料卻直接被逮，讓納達爾打出正手拍的直線穿越球得分。
基爾喬斯過去的荒唐行徑時有所聞，時常不按牌理出牌的他，就曾被納達爾質疑不好好打球，沒想到在17日雙方交手的比賽中，「壞小子」又出怪招，發球時不只是使用低手發球，還是在胯下擊球，不過這次直接被納達爾識破，用強勁的正手拍回擊，直接回敬了一記致勝球得分。
本場比賽「壞小子」脾氣暴躁，情緒幾度失控，不但對主審叫囂，質疑主審沒有控制局面，甚至還怒嗆現場球迷，「你為什麼說話？」，最後在與納達爾握手致意後，基爾喬斯直接摔爛球拍，飛濺出來的碎片差點砸中一名球僮，引發熱議，不過他本人事後也馬上在IG上為自己的失控行為道歉，並請球迷們協助找到這位球僮，他想要送一支球拍給他。
