（南投新聞）【記者石振賢／南投報導】今年農曆春節連續假期有9天，林務局南投林區管理處為維護奧萬大國家森林遊樂區的遊憩品質，除舊佈新迎新春，將在除夕(1月31日)進行園區清潔維護工作，當日將休園一天；前一天的小年夜（1月30日）無提供住宿服務，大年初一(2月1日)早上8時起即開園迎接新春，歡迎民眾春節假期來奧萬大走春、觀鳥、賞櫻花，迎接新春祥福之氣。
農曆春節期間正屬奧萬大賞櫻盛期，緋寒櫻(山櫻花)、八重櫻、霧社櫻三種櫻花接續盛開，多彩多樣的春天花卉點綴園區，美不勝收。花叢間，彩蝶飛舞、蜂兒穿梭；山林間，靈鳥嬉戲、松鼠捉逐；藍天上，白雲朵朵、鷹揚高歌，整個奧萬大處處充滿春的熱鬧氣息。春陽和煦普照，無論步道漫遊觀鳥、草坪坐臥賞櫻、瀑布吐納養身、吊橋遠眺山景，遊客盡皆流連忘返。
南投林管處表示，今年山櫻花已綻放，霧社櫻花結苞累累，盛期可待。現在開始至3月份將是園區欣賞各式櫻花的最佳時機，而且這段時間遊客人潮已不像賞楓季節擁擠，春天的景緻欣欣向榮，有別於秋冬蕭瑟之美，春遊奧萬大將可獲得更美好的遊憩體驗，且至4月底止，上「森林好好玩」買電子門票全票買一送一，可用到年底。
