Playing FPS Games requires a specially designed FPS Mouse if you want an edge over your competitors.
With FPS mouse, you get extra keys that you can configure as per your requirements. Also, the sensors and switches are high quality that eventually increase your click speed as well. You can take the CPS Test to know the difference of click speed between a normal mouse and FPS mouse.
In this post, I am sharing my three personal favorite FPS mice that you should consider if you need one!
1. Logitech G502 Proteus Spectrum
Logitech G502 Proteus Spectrum comes with unmatched accuracy and upto 12000 DPI range which makes it my first choice for FPS mouse.
It is equipped with the PMW3366 optical sensor that provides accurate mouse movement that is required for aiming and targeting the enemies.
Another thing that I like about Logitech G502 is the dedicated DPI shift button that comes handy when you want to quickly switch to the sniper mode which requires low DPI.
It has a report rate of 1000 Hz which is enough to keep your mouse experience lag free even in swift movements during battles.
Logitech G502 has 11 customisable buttons as well. You can set them for different in-game options like reloading the weapon, changing weapon, sniper mode etc.
In addition all the above, there is comfortable design and customisable RGB lighting as well. You cannot ask for more in an FPS mouse. But, all these features make it a little expensive (which you wont regret!)
2. Razer DeathAdder Chroma
My second favorite is Razer DeathAdder Chroma which I have used for almost 2 years without any complaints.
You get a precise optical sensor and fluid mouse movement with upto 10000 DPI range. All this packed in a really elegant and comfy design.
If you play with mouse acceleration on, then this one supports upto 50g acceleration which further improves your aiming precision.
Deathadder Chroma features special HyperResponse buttons that registers the click within fraction of seconds! There is also tactile feedback to tell you that you clicked.
This FPS mouse also has lift-off tracking. That means, if your mouse is lifted 1mm above the surface, the mouse tracking will be stopped. So, no jitters ever!
There are 5 extra buttons that are programmable using the Synapse software. All these features are enough to make it one of the best FPS mice you can buy in 2020.
3. SteelSeries Rival 600
My last recommendation would be Steelseries Rival 600. This mouse has dual sensors that take the accuracy to the next level itself!
The first sensor is TrueMove3 optical sensor which detects the primary movements of the mouse. And, the second one is the Optical Depth sensor that tracks the lift off to the limit of 0.5mm.
It has a DPI range of upto 12000 and the speed of 350+ IPS. Such sensors and DPI range are hard to find in any other FPS mouse in the market.
You also get 4 extra buttons that are configurable. It also has a split trigger system for primary click buttons for best performance.
There are 8 adjustable weights as well to help you create the perfect balance of center of gravity and ease of movement.
All in all, Steelseries Rival 600 is something you can buy to really feel the difference while playing Fortnite or any other FPS games.
