盲
Getting Blind

＊多年前因眼疾，開過刀。
Several years ago I had eye surgery operation.

開刀後，在老之已至的死亡恐懼下，一直不敢照鏡子。
That gave me a kind of fear of death's drawing near me that made me afraid of looking mysrl in a mirror.

最近又因青光眼，瞎掉一隻眼，
OF late Glaucoma made one of my eyes get blind,

偶而照鏡子整理儀容，
Sometimes looking in the mirror to brush cleab me up
才驚見自己已經穿破死亡之繭，探出頭來了……
Just to find me already piercing through the cocoon of death, which has popped out its head....

你曾經盲過嗎？
Have you ever got blind?

在繭裡，自縛的
In a cocoon, self imprisoned and bondaged

死亡的繭裡，暗無天日地
盲著――
In the cocoon of death, all in the dead darkness being blinded ----

生與死有何差別？
What's the difference between life and death?

情與無情有何差別？
Between emotional feeling and no feeling?

長髮與短髭有何差別？
Long hair and short mustache or side burns?

囚在鏡裡的靈魂呵！
Hey that soul being imprisoned in the mirror ah!

與鏡外彳亍而行的軀殼
有何差別？
What's the difference between the image seen and the corpse shell walking slowly wandering outside the mirror?

十方諸佛接手處

地平線上那片草原
That stretched expanse of grassland

萬巒之巔那株秃松
The uniquely bald cypress pine standing erect at the summit amongst the numerous ranges of mountains

千波外那隻水雉
Beyond the countlesss surging waves seen that
Hydrophasianus chirurgus

一切色即是佛色
All colors/forms are the manifestation of the Buddha for All phenomena are the Buddha’s physical manifestation

多少盅茶綠，多少杯戀情
How many cups of green tea, embedded joe many cups of loving emotion

多少滴清靈，多少回思念
How many drops of clearly fresh spirit, cc containing how many rounds of missing the loved one

多少白蓮，多少蓮香
How many white lotus leaves, giving off hoe much fragrance of lotus flowers

十方諸佛接手處，必是你
再生的地方
Where all Buddhas of the ten directions take over at the point of intersection of one's own mind and the minds of all Buddhas there must be the rebirth place of yours
