懵懵自夢中醒來，屋後
Muddle-headed feeling dazed when awakened from the dreamland, behind my house

欄(橄欖？)仁樹的枝椏已成蔭垂地
Seen are the branches and twigs of the Indian almond or Country almond (Terminalia catappa) having been casting a deep shade with a cool shadow

碧綠的相思樹葉，像是生命和希望的
The greening leaves of Taiwan Formosan Acacia (Acacia confusa), like making a screaming call for life and hope,
呼喚，閃動在藍天中呼吸太陽的金光
Flickering and shining wavering while bathing in the golden sunshine light beams in the azure sky

而你，荷著愛與恨、罪惡與羞辱的
And you, loaded with love and hatred, feeling guilty and shameful

老乞丐呵！歇歇吧
The oldager beggar,! Take a break alright?

這裡正是你安息的地方
