這幅作品名為“蓮師洞中”，整幅作品給人莊嚴、神聖的感覺。蓮師閉關洞位於尼泊爾境內，堪稱最佳的修行聖地之一。蓮師即蓮花生大士，印度僧人，8世紀後半期將密宗傳入西藏，並且幫助西藏正式建立了佛教的基礎，因此廣受藏族人民愛戴，尊奉祂為藏密的開基祖，是寧瑪派的傳承祖師。
