一掰開來,飽滿蟹膏,鮮嫩蟹肉,不用複雜調理,只要清蒸,就是甜!每年的10月中旬,就是開始吃蟹的季節,最近終於等到母蟹,不過,個頭不算頂大!因為是季節限定,不少熟客聞\"大閘蟹\"而來,其實今年原本預定國慶日前後,就能大飽口福,但是,蟹農說,因為天氣太熱。造成大閘蟹比較\"慢熟\"!要吃公蟹,還要再等一個星期,現在吃得到的,幾乎都是三到四兩的母蟹。

今秋苗栗大閘蟹終於上市。(圖/邱俊超攝)蟹農用刷子刷乾淨蟹體後,熟練的用苗栗苑裡本地產的藺草綁住,這樣蒸出來的蟹才會有草香!將蟹殼剝掉,去除心臟,還有肺葉之後,蟹農建議,先吸取蟹身的肉汁,再品嚐母蟹的蟹黃,用唇齒去感受,等待一年,值得的!
