我們時常在電影、電視劇中，那些古代歐州大文豪，不都是在用鵝毛管筆寫字的嗎？難道他們也是「番」？大概只有這些「狂妄自大」的，「閉關自守」的封建「井底之蛙」的夜郎自大無知之徒，才會稱臺灣人民為「番」！？
臺灣原住人民用『羅馬字』拼寫原住人民語言及姓名的辦法，直到清朝中期道光年間，還有臺灣人民使用，可見荷蘭教育（文字）是多麼的成功，文字是多麼的重要。

Katrina: 10 Years Later

Yesterday, President Obama traveled to New Orleans to meet with
the Mayor and residents who have rebuilt their lives since Hurricane Katrina.
The President also spoke about the region's rebirth and what's
possible when citizens work together with city and corporate leaders to lift
up their communities and build back in ways that make them more innovative
and positioned for economic growth.
