在本週的地址，總統預覽週一有史以來第一次白宮峰會工作家庭在那裡他將匯集企業領導和職工商討的挑戰就業父母每天都要面對的，抬起解決方案，很好的為這些家庭和美國企業。許多工薪家庭負擔不起像托兒基本需求或接收簡單的福利，如帶薪探親假是共同在世界上大多數國家。

美國總統羅斯福與英國首相邱吉爾在1941/8/14發表《大西洋憲章》後，又在四個月後，於1942/1/1發表：《聯合國宣言》追認《大西洋憲章》的主旨，並邀集參戰26個大國共同簽署發表，這下英國跑不掉了，勢必須要在第二次世界大戰後，讓所有被殖民的地區，脫離殖民主義者，由當地人民自己組織政府，獨立自主。
