I failed for few times,
and i bought some ready fresh tinned cream instead...so lazy

And yes, i think you got the right one of Joanna.

Hi Joanna (being to think are u the Joanna i know know... )
“打起的忌廉/奶油” = (3) whipped cream ar~~ so what u can do is to get a carton of whipping cream, and whip it till is almost set.

When we make desserts/decorating you will most likely be asked to used Whipping cream (284ml per jar, can get from any supermarkets la), which you add sugar into the cream while you'are whipping it. As in HK, there is some whipping cream that has sugar added, so please make that as a reference when buying the cream.
**if you cant find whipping cream, the nearest u can get as a substitude is double cream

To decorate the cake, you whipped the cream till 60- 70% set, have a palette knife ready in hand. Cakes cutted horizontally into 2 or 3 slices. take one slices, dash a bit of cream by using your palette knife, smooth the cream on then put fruit etc and place another slice of cake on top, repeat so for once. once you get to the top!! you can work neither the side or the surface first if you want At first, you roughly smooth cream all over the cake, once done, u hold the palette knife on the side of d cake, and move accordingly to the shape of d cake slowly, then you should result with a smooth side.As for the surface, same technique really~~~

Suzie, I want to ask 打起的忌廉/奶油 is which of the following?
1) Single cream
2) Double cream
3) Whipped cream
And which of the cream will be the best one for decoration?
Can you tell me the step of making it please?

Hehe sorry I didn't inform you the result of my pandan chiffon, but glad you have visited my pchome site! Yah the texture is great, smell nice! thanks once again!

Minor for commenting on your link, I have also place a link of your blog on my blog site too = )

Will concentrate more on bakery after my examination, so hope so share experience with you then! = )
