Dallas, TX /PRNewswire/ -- Jacobs (NYSE: JEC) announced they have successfully completed the testing and commissioning of the new, state-of-the-art Ceramic Membrane – Ozone – Neurological Activated Carbon plant along at the Choa Chu Kang Waterworks (CCKWW) for PUB, Singapore's National Drinking water Agency.
Working closely having PUB, Jacobs carried away the preliminary design, comprehensive design, preparation and award of tenders, construction supervision, contract management, testing and commissioning of the plant. The project upgrades the prevailing 360 million litres everyday (80 million U. NITED KINGDOM. gallons per day) waterworks over the addition of new ceramic membrane layer filters, an ozone program and biological activated carbon dioxide contactors. These improvements enhance both lifespan and robustness of the treatment process allowing the actual plant to process a new wider range of water quality fluctuations.
