在日本被稱為「特攝名模」的南里美希，自2008年開始成為超人氣雜誌「Ray」的專屬模特兒，在平面與雜誌上嶄露頭角，也曾經客串戲劇與廣告演出，更在Tokyo Girls Collection嶄露頭角，她迷人甜美的笑容與身材令人印象深刻。

然而真正讓她大受注目的，則是她在2年前受到日本大師雨宮慶太青睞，接演經典特攝作品《牙狼-照亮黑暗的人》片中魔戒法師「莉杏」一角，讓南里美希成為片中一大賣點。

在今年初更跨足大螢幕演出《牙狼GARO GOLDSTORM-翔》，同樣飾演魔戒法師「莉杏」，並與帥氣的男主角栗山航共挑大樑，也讓她獲得不少動漫迷的死忠粉絲。
