Gaomei Wetland located on the south of the mouth of Dajia (大甲)River is a land mixed with both sand and soil textures and the area comes in 1,700 acres=7 square kilometers.

But not every time we can see the sunset glow in Gaomei Wetland
The red suspension bridge is the newest addition to the Gaomei Wetlands, which already hosts 18 wind turbines within its intertidal zone.
At present, the wetland is divided into two large blocks: 400 meters from the embankment, which is included in the protected Wanlin Wanning area(雲林莞草區), and visitors are strictly prohibited.
Finally, 500 meters away, it is a perpetual use area that allows visitors to walk through wooden pallet trails, enjoy nature's gifts, and enjoy the water.
Suggest you should arrive Gaomei Wetlands at around 4 pm to spend some time to walk around the vast wetlands before watching the sunset glow.
