啄食多少日升月落？

How many sunrises and sunsets Have you been pecking at?

優雅追逐晨光，眷戀夕照

Gracefully seeking after the morning sunlight, falling in love with the the setting sun 身影漂泊江河、田

The silhouette of the shadow is wandering amid rivers and mountains, as the rice paddies are 佇足紛擾人間

Standing erect in the noisily chaos of human world of hustling and bustling

清白之外，還是清白

Beyond the pure and clean looking there’s still more of cleanness and purity of

日月星光

the sun moon and stars

輝映著無爭的一生

Brightening up and reflecting, selflessly in harmony with one another standing aloof in their whole lifetime

風吹雨洗

Braving the winds blowing and the rains pattering

斑駁了不完美的紅塵

Getting mottled in the imperfect mundane world of red dust

殘夢點點

Filled with broken dreams as dotted reminders 　

 

每一次的停留

Each time of staying

都是飢渴的指引

Gives a guide as to hunger and thirst

飛仙如你

Though you’re a flying fairy

也要乞食人間煙火

Also you’re eager to beg for a living in the smoke and fire of humans

在來與去之間，如星光

Between com and going, like flickering starlights

點綴了田野之美

You beautify the paddies and wilderness with pretty things

啄食多少日升月落？

清白之外，還是清白
　
日月星光
輝映著無爭的一生
風吹雨洗
斑駁了不完美的紅塵
殘夢點點
