When you go on vacation, there are many different kinds of places you can stay at. But how do you choose? Hotels are a popular choice. They are rated as having one to five stars. The more stars a hotel has, the better the quality of the hotel, but also the higher the price. Resorts, on the other hand, are located near the beach. They usually have luxurious facilities like spas, restaurants, and discos. If you decide to stay at a villa, you can have 3 or 4 bedrooms including a living room, a cafeteria, and a kitchen. Villas often include cooks, drivers, and even vehicles for you to use. If you prefer something cozier, you can stay at a bed and breakfast. This is a home that also serves as a hotel. You can also see how local residents live in a B&B because the owner lives in it. Of course, B&B's include breakfast as the name suggests. Last year, I was lucky enough to go to Bali with a tour group. We stayed in Kuta in a luxurious hotel. This place was the island's most popular beach resort. At the resort, we had a swimming pool and many restaurants located right on the beach. We swam in the warm ocean every morning before going out on excursions. On the first day, we learned how Balinese worship their gods by visiting a Hindu temple. The temple was very colorful because Balinese people leave offerings of flowers and fruit everywhere. Some of our tour group could not enter the temple because they were wearing shorts. Balinese people do not like bare legs in their sacred places. This was a wonderful first day in Bali – one of the most enchanting places in the world.
