《悠唱藍調》：生命中的金曲與那些不被認識的歌曲

麥克打過越戰、離過婚、曾經酗酒度日，如今已經戒酒滿20年，在不同的場合中擔任翻唱歌手，賺取微薄收入；克萊兒同樣離過婚，獨自撫養一對兒女，在情緒陷入低潮的時候，靠著音樂找回活著的力量。兩名歌手一拍即合，組成「雷霆與閃電」團體，靠著重新詮釋尼爾戴門的歌曲，逐漸闖出名聲...

不是青春洋溢的藝人，而是中年不得志的歌手、沒有紅遍全美的風光，卻在區域市場中唱出一片天。《悠唱藍調》很好看，可惜題材不夠有話題性，難以開出長紅的票房成績。但我喜歡這樣的作品，會讓你重拾一點點面對生活的勇氣。

《悠唱藍調》的好，一是音樂，不管熟不熟悉尼爾戴門的歌曲，音樂與劇情高度契合，讓人聽得著迷。一是演員，飾演麥克的休·傑克曼和飾演克萊兒的凱特·哈德森，完美詮釋角色的悲喜人生，他們演得好也唱得好，搭配在一起，火花四射。凱特·哈德遜甚至是好久沒有接到這樣好而且迷人的角色！

《悠唱藍調》的好，也在於本片沒有一般傳記電影多半聚焦在主角最成功與最落魄的時刻，相反地，導演花了很多的篇幅書寫那些既平凡又難熬的日子。片中，克萊兒因為一場無妄之災而遭到截肢，陷入低潮，最後在家人的扶持下才重新振作。沒想到，好不容易站起來，居然又發生一次撞車事件，這次她幸運躲過一劫，除了理解到生命的無可預期（這是真實事件！！），也更珍惜家人的付出。

而在《悠唱藍調》裡，麥克對於人們只想聽尼爾戴門最知名的歌曲而有些氣餒，他不斷告訴大家，尼爾戴門的好歌不只一首啦！這個劇情設定，意在點出本片的主旨：人們總會記得最燦爛的一刻（名曲），但人生不會只有高潮，而是由無數的高低起伏時刻所組成。就像麥克的人生不能靠著幾場成功的演出來定義，他的人生是由每一個他為著自己與他人付出努力，或是他人為了他而付出的關愛所撐起。

尼爾戴門寫過許多好歌，有些廣受歡迎，有些吸引小眾，正似麥克與克萊兒的人生，是由一群人共同譜出一首又一首或熱門或雋永的歌曲而組成。

觀賞《悠唱藍調》的前一天，朋友打電話給我，提及最近看的電影不知為何都有些距離感，不是差，就是進不去狀況。當時還沒看《悠唱藍調》，不然我可能會推薦他去看這部片吧。不曲高和寡，穩穩地講好一個能讓人感同身受，甚至感動落淚的作品，就跟《陽光女子合唱團》一樣，提出了一個令人信服的觀點，讓通俗劇得以淬煉出動人的情感力量。
