and pick up a pair now on Eastbay...

Last year was jam-packed with elephant print goodness, as Jordan Brand went crazy dropping Air Jordan III’s left and right. Looks like they’ve got a bit of the signature print leftover, at least enough to outfit Melo’s latest with the look. The treatment comes paired with a classic Jordan colorway that makes the inspiration quite clear. The Air Jordan V “Fire Red” is coming back this summer. No, not the reflector-tongued Air Jordan V in white/black/fire red that came back at the top of this year, but sneaker more often associated with that red hot nickname. The distinction between the two has definitely been a point of contention for sneakerheads in the past, with some not happy about the “Fire Red” nickname spreading to that other pair despite that color’s appearance on the OG label. Much ado about nothing? Later this year, Nike will release a Nike Air Trainer SC II High colorway similar to the OG colorway (yes, teal on the inner lining and tongue will become available), but still, a heated debate sprouted when Sneaker News showed you a sample pair of the White/Dark Grey-Neutral Grey-Citron colorway. Trainers always seem to be a touchy subject when it comes to Nike’s current attempts at producing ‘true’ retros, but considering the age of the shoe, the evolving manufacturing practices of the brand, and the fact that a Air Trainer SC II High retro has never been done, you have to allow some elbow room – especially with a shoe with one of the most techy designs in Nike history. Given the colorway, these are more of a Neon Air Max 95 version of the SC II High, so check out these new detailed images (with an open mind and heart) and pick up a pair now on Eastbay...

Air Jordan 3 UK Sneaker News recently showed you a custom pair of the Nike LeBron 8 V/2 ‘Dunkman’ done by sneaker customizer and artist c4. That was a great conceptualization of the ‘Dunkman’ had it been done on the V/2, but this year’s release will take form of the LeBron 8 P.S. This May 13th. Used very sparingly since its 2009-10 peak, the Nike Air Max 90 Current returns as part of Nike Sportswear’s ‘Hometurf Collection‘. This new ‘Paris’ Air Max 90 Current (the only Current of the bunch) brings the Max-heel’d, Free-toed design back in a range of brown tones spread across the suede and mesh upper along with the new Dstnc Red (‘Distinct’ red?) shade on select accents. These have the same white/black striped sockliner common to all of the Paris Hometurf releases, and like the Air Max 2013s we showed you earlier, these will arrive at select NSW retailers this Saturday, March 30th, 2013.. Reebok and Shaq dominated Project LV with an official announcement, while adidas Originals and its roster of celebrity endorsers kept us entertained – with an interview with A$AP Rocky giving us some insight into the mind of the Harlem-based rapper. Some ‘Snakeskin’ colorways of two Reebok Iverson models surfaced, D-Wade’s Li-Ning Way of Wade was a surprise hit with the All-Star and ‘Chicago’ PE, and Vans prepares for the warmer months with some more Spring arrivals. Michael Jordan and the sports media world celebrated his 50th birthday, while we took some time to search for some rare finds on eBay Air Jordan 3 Retro UK.
