Fitri Nganthi Wani（b.1989）是詩人、社會運動家Wiji Thukul（1963-c.1998）的女兒，後來亦跟父親一樣成為詩人，她9歲時（1998年）就遭遇父親因抗議蘇哈托政權被軍警追捕、家中遭搜索、父親從此失蹤的慘禍。後來蘇哈托政權垮台、印尼邁向民主化，2002年Wiji Thukul因其推動印尼民主的犧牲奉獻，獲頒「葉添興獎」（葉添興（Yap Thiam Hien, 1913-1989）是印尼華裔人權律師），主辦單位邀請Wani代表父親受獎，並請她在電視轉播的頒獎會場朗誦一首父親的詩。由於Wiji Thukul失蹤後關於他去向的謠言不斷，當時年方13歲的Wani大膽利用這個機會，朗誦她自己寫的詩〈寫給你，爸爸，以及「新秩序」〉（Untukmu, Bapak dan Orde Baru），沈痛地控訴了蘇哈托時期的白色恐怖，為其父親闢謠，也希冀或許Wiji尚在人世，能看到轉播回家……

倘若我爸爸失蹤了
不知他的去向
我會不停地想，爸爸到哪去了？
倘若你說你不知道
為何有流言說我爸在別處有妻有子
倘若你說你不知道
何處來的新聞說
我爸已住到國外
而當他們說
爸爸還不準備回家
因為情勢並不安全
原因是什麼？警察？情治人員？
或是偽裝潛伏的敵人？
這對我們公平嗎？
到底是誰的錯：我爸還是「新秩序」？
爸爸為被壓迫者挺身而出
爸爸捍衛工人與平民的權益
包括我們，我們這些下層階級
在此同時的「新秩序」
他們又做了什麼呢？
箝制人們的腦袋
踐踏人民的權益
掠奪人民的土地
這公平嗎？
倘若我爸爸回來
他會被抓嗎？
誰才真正該被拘禁
是我爸還是「新秩序」？
倘若這個時刻
我爸能看見與聽見我
我希望對他說：
「你不再愛我了嗎？」
因為我長期以來忍受羞辱
常被喚作是逃犯的小孩
你要我被人這樣叫嗎？
逃犯是犯錯的人
國家的敗類
你是逃犯嗎，爸爸？
你在正確的一方，不在錯誤的一方
倘若你不是逃犯
為何不回家呢，爸爸？

Jika bapakku hilang
Dan tak tahu dimana dia
Aku tak habis pikir, dimana Bapakku?
Jika kau bilang tak tahu
Mengapa ada gosip bapakku punya istri beranak satu
Jika kau bilang tak tahu
Dari mana datangnya kabar
Bapakku ada di luar negeri
Dan bila ada yang bilang
Bapakku belum mau pulang
Karena kondisi belum aman
Apa penyebabnya? Polisi? Intel?
Atau musuh dalam selimut?
Apakah adil bagi kami?
Salah siapa: Bapakku atau Orde Baru?
Bapakku membela rakyat tertindas
Bapakku membela hak buruh dan rakyat
Termasuk kami, kami golongan rendah
Sedangkan Orde Baru,
Apa yang telah dilakukannya?
Memeras otak rakyat
Menindas hak rakyat
Merampas tanah rakyat
Adilkah ini?
Bila bapakku pulang
Apakah bapakku harus ditangkap?
Siapa yang harus ditangkap sesungguhnya?
Bapakku atau Orde Baru?
Dan bila saat ini
Bapak sedang melihat dan mendengar aku
Aku ingin bilang
"Apakah kau tak sayang lagi?"
Sudah lama kutahan sakit hati
Karena sering aku dibilang anak buron
Apakah bapak mau aku dibilang anak buron?
Buron adalah orang salah, penyakit negara
Apakah bapak buron?
Bapak orang benar bukan orang salah
Bila bapak bukan buron
Mengapa bapak tak pulang?

For You, My Father and the New Order

When my father is missing
And I know not his whereabouts
I never cease wondering, where is my dad?
If you say you don’t know
Why the gossip my father has a wife and child elsewhere
If you say you don’t know
From where is the news
My father lives abroad
And when they say
Dad’s not ready to return home
Because the situation’s not safe
What’s the reason? Police? Intelligence agents?
Or, an enemy in disguise?
Is this fair on us?
Whose fault is it: My father or the New Order?
Dad stood up for the oppressed
Dad defended the rights of workers and the common people
That includes us, us of the lower classes
Whereas the New Order,
What have they done?
Milk people’s brains
Crush people’s rights
Seize people’s land
Fair, is it?
If my father returns
Should he be caught?
Who actually should be detained
My father or the New Order?
And if at this moment
My father sees and hears me
I wish to say:
“Don’t you love me anymore?”
For so long I have suffered affront
Called often a fugitive’s child
Do you want me called that?
A fugitive is someone at fault,
A nation’s blight
Are you a fugitive, dad?
You are in the right, not wrong
If you’re not a fugitive
Why not come home, dad?
