【專訪】柴可夫斯基大賽小提琴銀牌得主 曾宇謙


這應該是歐頭第二度見到曾宇謙這位「台灣音樂之光」本尊了，不過卻也是第一回有機會訪問訪問他，以下就是「古典啟示錄」的歐頭跟其他媒體，一起聯訪曾宇謙的訪談內容。

 

Q1：請問你聽到牛耳藝術邀約你與葛濟夫與慕尼黑愛樂協演時的心情？

Ａ：當然很開心，因為一拿到柴可夫斯基大賽銀牌後，就馬上就能跟這麼好的樂團以及指揮大師合作，覺得自己真的很幸運。

（牛效華老師也補充：這整個真的是十分契合的機緣，因為曾宇謙拿到銀牌時時，也沒有想到葛濟夫與慕尼黑愛樂下半年會來台灣演出，當時我們大概花了一個月的時間與慕尼黑愛樂討論，而葛濟夫因為是我多年老友，而且又是柴可夫斯基大賽的比賽主席，他心中當然是支持大獎得主的。

 

Q2：可以談談你的未來計畫嗎？

Ａ：這次在台灣跟葛濟夫與慕尼黑愛樂的兩場演出後，會到中國與他們的國家交響樂團合作，也是演出柴可夫斯基小提琴協奏曲。之後，回美國念書因為我還是寇帝斯音樂院的學生，預計明年五月畢業，可能會多待美國一年，去茱莉亞音樂院。

 

Ｑ3：能否說說你想要繼續求學的原因？

如果我沒有拿到這個柴可夫斯基大獎，我也還是個學生，本來就必須完成學業。現在我拿到了這個獎，自己心裡就還想繼續學習深造。現在的老師亞倫羅森我自己很喜歡，
他也很願意教我，因此我就更想要繼續學。雖然說音樂必須靠演奏家自己的想法去詮釋，但我認為還是要有人指導，即便到了三十歲還是會有這樣的需要。

 

Ｑ4：從學生到現在，你自己覺得最大的不同是？

Ａ：比賽你可能可以準備一套曲目，去參加所有的全部比賽，因為基本曲目都類似，有一定的重疊性。但如果要展開職業演出，就是自己本身要準備夠多的曲目，一位職業演奏家一年要準備四、五首新曲目，另外準備兩、三套獨奏曲目，份量比去參加比賽多很多，而且自己要在一場場的演出間隔中，找時練習。

 

Q5：談談亞倫羅桑對你的影響，你從身上學到最多的是？

Ａ：他現在年紀頗大了，他的詮釋保有海飛茲一路下來的傳統，比較不像是近代的小提琴家會用比較激烈的方式，或是比較大的對比來詮釋音樂。他比較注重細節，滑音等等。

因為他錄過五十張唱片，自己拿手的曲目頗多，每首曲子上我都可以跟他學到東西。好比來說，我自己有些詮釋比較特別之處，可能一首曲子有十個地方。上課時演奏給他聽之後，他會說：「其中六個地方很好，可以多加強。其他有些地方他覺得沒有必要，稍作修改。」他上課內容，往往在乎的不是音準節奏的問題，都是在詮釋上。我這樣說不是要批評，許多演奏家到一定年紀仍會讓，聽眾、樂評覺得他沒有自己想法風格，音樂必須要自己去想，很多東西要透過這樣方式去得到。

Ｑ6：談談你跟奇美基金會的琴緣。

Ａ：我很幸運，我從十一歲開始借他們的琴來演奏一直到現在，總共換過了十四、十五把琴，可以說這十年來都用他們的琴上台。去美國時，也因為三商行的贊助，才能去求學，個人受到民間的資助很多。

我一路上走來真的很幸運，不是每個人都有這樣的機緣待遇，像這次又有牛耳牛老師跟大師葛濟夫的協助，個人相當感念。奇美的琴的等級Range很廣，一開始借我的琴沒那麼好，一路走來隨著我比賽需求的不同，他們借我的琴也逐漸提高等級。這次去參加柴可夫斯基大賽，大約比賽兩個月前他們就借我這把已經283歲的瓜內里Castelbarco- Tarisioau名琴，可以說是博物館裡面幾把同一最高等級的。

 

Ｑ7：同學（寇帝斯音樂院）們怎麼看你，有這樣的幸運與樂團合作？

Ａ：在費城，反而比較少世界級大樂團來，他們都去紐約比較多，所以我們的確沒有太多機會跟國際大團合作。我的同學們，他們應該有羨慕忌妒但沒有說出來。我現在開始慢慢有演奏會，仍算是演奏家中的新手，有很多需要學習。

 

Q8：聽說你自己會做菜？做菜時聽什麼音樂？

A：爸爸是我去美國的前四年都陪著我，他會弄吃的，後來我也自己弄，同學吃了之後說，也還蠻好吃的。我的拿手菜是義大利麵，不是簡單的而是複雜的。做菜時我不聽古典，因為會太嚴肅認真去聽音樂，反而不能放鬆。我平常聽流行音樂來放鬆自己，像是Bruno Mars、JJ林俊傑等等，以前會聽王力宏（但他結婚後音樂就不行了），台灣菜只會炒飯，不過美國都用電磁爐火比較弱，不好做。

 

Ｑ9：談談你比較崇拜的音樂家？

Ａ：其實這個答案一直變耶，十四、十五歲我喜歡沙拉薩泰，之後變成喜歡西貝流士、布拉姆斯。在小提琴家方面我以前很崇拜海飛茲，不只是因為他的技巧好，而且是因為他的音樂有一種很有生命力的感覺。速度快，但是在快當中卻又能收放自如，而且海飛茲演奏到八十歲，這很難，幾十年來從不停止練習，所以我非常尊敬他的專業表現。

Q10：你消化一首樂曲的方式，成為演奏家之後，個人風格與感情的流露。

Ａ：去學一首曲子的方式其實都差不多，練音準等等，不過要等熟悉後再拿回來，強調音樂上的想法，以及一些細節特別重要的處理，看看自己對曲子的理解夠不夠，還能夠變化的範圍廣度在哪裡？

還有另外一個方面，就是生活當中的歷練，這方面就比較不能趕的，必須等時候到了，不是去做什麼事就可以立竿見影的得到。必須透過生活中的歷練、體驗、閱讀、領悟、甚至是戀愛，不像是練技巧。

 

Ｑ11：未來希望自己是怎樣的音樂家？

我沒想過，因為是那是別人給的定位，我只想到要把每場音樂會，自己一定要演出好，其他就是十年、二十年後留給世人去評價了。

 

Ｑ12：四年前你錄的法國作曲家那張唱片，音樂表現很成熟。現在最想做的是哪幾位作曲家的音樂？

A：我希望當一位全方位的演奏家，我不可能每首曲子都去拉，但是會希望每首曲子自己都可以處理到好。我有比較喜歡的作曲家，但也不會只演奏他們的曲子，樂團有時也會指定作品，有時他們也會問我想拉什麼，即便是未來會有作曲家的新作品獻給我，我也會花比較多時間跟作曲家討論，細節，不過目前還沒有。

 

Ｑ13：巡迴世界各地演出，你在生活上的調適如何？辛苦的地方何在？

A：其實我自己蠻怕坐飛機，因為會覺得一切都操控在機長身上。現在我很享受當演奏家的生活，雖然都是千篇一律的搭飛機、等車、進飯店旅館、演奏後的餐會等等，一直重複的生活。但是很好玩的是我許多國家沒去過，很多很棒的城市也沒去過，我自己特別喜歡歐洲建築與人與風景，給我舒服的感覺。

 

Ｑ14：問一個略為敏感的問題，你自己覺得這次柴可夫斯基大賽，為什麼沒有拿到金牌？

A：從這個大賽過去的數據來看，八成的第一名（金牌）都是俄國人，另外兩成的首獎也都各有端倪，小提琴有兩屆是日本人拿首獎，當時他們的大贊助商是Toyota！另外還有首獎的老師是主審，但我們也不能說是這種情況，他們拿到首獎就是不夠格、不好。

另外，過去如果首獎從缺，第二名往往都是並列。所以對我來說獨拿第二，在一個人生地不熟的狀況，我自已經覺得很不容易了。畢竟必須超過三分之二的評審投你第一，你才能拿第一，而我們小提琴有有十二、十三位評審，超過一半是俄國籍，而這次三位第三名都是俄國籍（或前蘇聯），競爭的確激烈。

當時的確有評審提議要讓一位俄國參賽者跟我並列，但有人強烈反對，因為票數就是不同。其實比賽是相對，越出現競爭的情況，票數就不容易得分集中，在這種激烈決賽的情況下，我是最高得主自己就很開心了。
