    教育部長吳思華和反課綱師生代表座談，雙方討論兩個半鐘頭，毫無共識，學生代表當場氣哭，有人甚至拍桌離席，大罵吳思華是無恥部長，會後學生代表情緒激動，有人更直呼教育已死，下跪大喊對不起林冠華，而教育部次長林騰蛟，指部長提出四點善意，包括有關政府資訊公開、程序不夠透明部分，承諾10天內徵詢課審會高中職組的委員，一經徵詢同意，就會公開名單。

    「我真的非常願意，但選書由教師決定」，要求暫緩，部長卻推給學校老師，反課綱學生代表聽不下去，拍桌離席，你真是無恥的部長，在會場外更大喊對不起為了反課綱犧牲生命的林冠華，下跪向大眾道歉，8月3號教育已死，我們對不起你們，學生情緒愈講愈激動，最後抱頭痛哭，直指教育部長是官僚不是教育家，座談會的結果，似乎學生代表都很意外，情緒遲遲不能平復，反課綱的下一步，他們說還不知道該怎麼辦，只能先平復心情，討論後再做打算。
