is a music instrument store located in KhonKaen, Thailand that Yui took me to practice the song on 16 Jan 2013. And, when Yui and I arrived and stood in front of the store, actually I can’t take my eyes off ukulele that near the entrance door in the store. Also, I am so surprised about the very kinds of music instrument displayed in there. Which means, I cannot focus on what Jim, the musician and probably the store owner, asked me the questions about on that day.
Usually people will not notice about the band or what they actually played in a wedding ceremony or during dinner time in a restaurant. The musicians shall play on a stage which is small and dark, continuing to play the songs and watched the guests sit on the table and eat the meal. And, the band shall take the responsibility to entertain the guests more than 6hours non-stop even when the time is mid-night or even late than that.
Basically, that’s the way I understood about what the mission a band could deal with when they took the job to play in a pub or a night out activity.
On 17 Jan 2013, once all the girls are prepare to dress-up and make up for the wedding party in Petcharat Garden Hotel. WitchVera descided to check the restaurant, listen to the music, and feel the way that Thai prepared for the wedding. You know, it’s cross-culture to me.
So many beautiful pictures for Russ and Soi already prepared and set on the path way, shinning and pink really caught my eyes there. More than 90tables were set, wine were set, video is playing and found band is already there.
Jim introduced me the other two musicians, one is Mr. Boy, the other is Mr. Tom. All of them are nice and happy to play several warm-up songs in the restaurant. Also, there’s a team to tuning the speakers and video play machine. I just sat and feel the moment full-filled with joyful before the new-wed couple come.
When Russ and Soi entered the restaurant for wedding party, both of them looks shy, so cute and so happy. More than 10 persons around them to help them rehearsal, took photos and the band played. In the center of the restaurant, fresh flowers were kept move to the flower-stand. The bubble makes everything perfect, even it was only rehearsal.
Took a quick rest, I practiced twice about the song I am going to sing. Then, sit and wait the guests come.
To be honest, Russ and Soi have a super nice family when they married. All the shows on the stage that the family members and friends prepared were attractive and warm. The best wishes all the guests gave that night make the wedding ceremony unique and graceful. I am so glade I’ve been there that night.
The band played with love songs, keep going and going, till mid-night. That’s why I wrote this in my blog, more that 125tables shared with all the guests during wedding party for Russ and Soi on 17 Jan 2013.
