逼婚、催生、問工作，今年春節9天年假，不少人卻是一想到年假很長、沒有理由不回家就愁眉苦臉，全因過年最怕被父母、被親戚問東問西，甚至有憂鬱症者因此開始焦慮、失眠、惡夢連連，精神科醫師建議，面對躲不掉的連假，不妨學會5招調整心情，好渡過連假。
書田診所精神科主任醫師施佳佐表示，每年早在過年連假之前，門診就有不少民眾因為開始焦慮、恐懼害怕、惡夢、失眠、情緒起伏大、憂鬱而就醫，其中舊有的憂鬱症患者就有2、3成之多。
今年年假為例，就有一名獨自北上求學的22歲女大生，不堪父母常吵架，偏偏又因為9天年假很長，沒有理由不回家，不知該怎麼辦，引爆憂鬱症發作，被友人帶著就醫。
施佳佐說，如果回家真的成為壓力來源，一想到連假就開始焦慮的人，可以利用些小技巧避開令自己不舒服的情形，例如只回家吃年夜飯，或者只待短暫日子，一旦感覺已超過自己能負荷的程度，或家人彼此開始討論過度敏感的話題甚至衝突時，最好以工作及學業為由提前離開。
也可以找朋友到家裡一同過年，充當「潤滑劑」！施佳佐表示，這是因為有外人在時，家人之間就較不會放縱負面情緒；如果經濟能力許可，也可乾脆安排全家一同出遊，轉移衝突注意力。
精神科醫師亦提供5種方式幫助憂鬱症者渡過連假：
（1）對自己情緒有覺察，倘發現自己有過度憂鬱情形，恐慌焦慮失眠加劇，可上網作壓力檢測量表（台灣人憂鬱量表），分數超標即建議就醫。
（2）學習自我放鬆技巧，如：深呼吸、做運動等，幫助自己情緒先緩和。
（3）透過諮商幫自己釐清壓力源及共同找尋更好調適及應對方式。
（4）對年假期間可能需要及遇到的醫療狀況事先準備，放假前與醫師討論可能遇到情境預先演練，可如何應對並準備適量的藥物。
（5）提早安排規劃連假，也可發揮自我創意，安排不同方案。
