You did not expect to observe such scene in mainland China.
--the highest standard of living of china.(it almost is the same as Hong Kong)
--nearly the lowest wages for labor in China.(Y2 per day)
--unfair treatment to tibetan labor by chinese in holy land of tibet.
--deprived tibetan and rich chinese.
--selfish chinese and generous and helpful tibetan
During the second day in Ali, we met a group of tibetan youth wandering around in main street of Ali. Me and Moto were quite interesting to them. after started our conversation by asking their orgin.
We had the following discovery.
1.The youth were come from rural area of Shigatse. They walked to Ali by their feet. It almost took 3 months to arrive Ali. It was really a tough trip to them.
2.They were employed by a chinese run company to build future Ali airport.
3. They were only casual worker.it was just similar to the employment procedure in construction site in Hong Kong. They were wandering because they were waiting for the person in charge to take them to working place. We suspected the company was owned by Hong Kong people or Cantonese. Only these 2 types of people were expert in these abomination.
4.one thing was different. They needed to prepare their dibber for work. Min cost for dibber was y15. half of their monthly salary.
5.They were not well secured in industrial accident. the company owner would not shoulder the responsibility once there were any accidents. i saw some of them got injuried on their face or appendix. i touched their skin with great paint.
6.the youth admitted the salary was not sufficient for their living. Therefore, they lived in a crowded tiny room. They ate the rotten food or cooked the residue in fresh market for meal.
to people from mainland china, Ali was a good place for investment and business. They regarded there as a good place for gold digging.
To tibetan, Ali was a place for job seeking, a place to change their life.

*Chinese took sleeping bus, tibetan took truck.
