布碌崙5老人中心 奧迪茲將贈700隻火雞
: 感恩節將至，為讓布碌崙(布魯克林)耆老感受關懷，紐約州助理議長奧迪茲(Felix W. Ortiz)每年舉辦派發火雞活動；今年獲多家華裔機構贊助，準備近700隻火雞，將為當地五間老人中心免費派發火雞。
奧迪茲今年獲得多家機構贊助，不少華裔機構也參與獻愛心，美國福建同鄉會、康華日間護理中心、美國紐約恩平商會和王老吉大健康產業有限公司大力支持，希望民眾在佳節期間能感受社區的溫暖。
奧迪茲表示，今年的活動是第24屆舉行，希望藉此機會關愛社區耆老，並在感恩節送上傳統的火雞大餐，讓他們在這一天能與家人團聚共樂。700隻火雞將分發給當地五間老人中心，以往每年也有民眾登記信息，奧迪茲辦公室會聯絡這些民眾，邀請他們前來領取免費火雞。
