Introduction to BiNem®
BiNem® is a liquid crystal display (LCD) technology.
BiNem® is a breakthrough that enhances existing LCD technologies with a memory effect and superior image quality.
BiNem® acronym comes from Bistable Nematic.
Bistable means that display content remains without any power supply thanks to a internal memory effect.
Nematic means that it uses nematic liquid crystal materials which are very standard, cheap and robust. Most of LCDs use nematic materials
Furthermore the BiNem® technology has a very high optical performance level : excellent contrast, very wide viewing angle, pure Black and White and large number of colors.
BiNem® can be processed on existing manufacturing lines and thus has a very high quality to price ratio.
