大陸《人民海軍報》日前刊出新款093型攻擊核潛艦的照片，陸媒稱是解放軍目前最先進的核潛艦。現在英媒又指出，該款新潛艦改進了艦橋（指揮台圍殼）等部分，有助降低阻力和噪音，並可能搭載巡弋飛彈。

英國權威軍事雜誌《詹氏防衛周刊》23日報導，新款093型攻擊核潛艦改良了艦橋和其他部分，艦橋後面似乎有一個新的「腫塊」形狀，新設計可能為了幫助降低阻力和噪音。

能發射鷹擊-18飛彈

陸媒「觀察者網」稱，這艘潛艦使用「鷹擊-18」反艦巡弋飛彈垂直發射系統，是「東風-10」長程巡弋飛彈的海上版。但是新照片沒有提供「腫塊」內有垂直發射巡弋飛彈的新證據。

《詹氏防衛周刊》報導，新潛艦的重要特點，即是重新設計的艦橋。新設計放棄了早期093、092型核潛艦的導航窗和突出的前航行燈。同時在動力方面也進行了改良。

報導中指出，該潛艦在解放軍海軍的商級潛艦計畫中，尚不知其確切地位。幾個月前，美國五角大廈向國會遞交2016年度《中國軍事與安全發展態勢報告》，中國將繼續增強攻擊型核潛艦力量，在已服役的2艘商級攻擊型核潛艦的基礎上，還會有4艘同級別核潛艦的加入，取代老舊的091型潛艦，新型核潛艦能發射先進的「鷹擊-18」反艦巡弋飛彈。

已著手研製新型093G

文章中也另引述報導稱，中國已經在研製更新型的潛艦，型號即為「093G」，即可能為五角大廈報告中所說的4艘新型核潛艦之一。

093型核潛艦是中國研製的攻擊型核潛艦，原屬高度機密，2007年7月下旬，在解放軍建軍80周年展覽上，093型核潛艦的模型和一些圖片曝光。隨後大陸央視播出時任中央軍委主席的胡錦濤為新型核潛艦股役授旗儀式的畫面，證明093型核潛艦首艘已正式服役。而近期新款型093的亮相，正值中美南海爭議升溫、中日東海紛爭之際，引來外界聯想。
