Along with Hudson River, one side is New Jersey, the other is NYC. When you drive on one of them, you can see the wonderful view of the other. The buildings piled up, according to what my friend's gf said: they are just like logo or dominos, and stand side by side. The city, NJ or NY, looks so different in day and night. Under the daylight, the city seems a huge and splendid creature lying on the river bank; but in the night, it turns into thousands piece of mysterious, precious and fabulous tresures which are twinkling and shimmering just like being enkindled by almighty god.
NYC is dividied into three districts: upper town, mid town and lower town. The more lower the more dangerous, you, especially chinese, would be robbed by blacks when you walking on the street. (I don't know that that my friend told me.) The Wall Street, World Trade Center and Time Sqare are located at upper and mid town; some black people's districts are situated at part of mid town (chinese and korean live there too) and lower town. It's kinda invisiable race segregation I think, you can't transcend the limit or boundary between different races easily.
