「我在台灣只有國中畢業，什麼基層辛苦的工作我都做過了，結果在所有人都不看好的情況下，現在我的公司每年都有3億以上的收入」，西裝筆挺坐在竹科辦公室裡，一舉一動和眼神都充滿自信，但說起話來溫暖又不失風趣，他是38歲的謝銘杰，他的出生和學歷背景在台灣可能是最不被看好的，如今他是「台灣尾牙王」，台灣7成的知名大型企業都找他辦活動，白手起家熬出頭，如今身價上億。

務實、溫暖，也是謝銘杰接案子的不二法門。承接每個不同公司的案子，謝銘杰都會研究這些公司的背景和願景、了解老闆的喜好，並從中規畫出主題，像是台積電30周年慶，他找來台灣戲曲學院表演，是唯一會飛在空中的表演，而新竹風大，舞者得一邊抵抗強風，一邊在空中跳出曼妙舞姿，「這和一個企業要面對很多挑戰，依然要很唯美展現韌度的感覺是很雷同的，當天張忠謀先生在台下看得目不轉睛」，而這場活動，也創下滿意度最高的問卷分數。
而3年前，謝銘杰更破格以國中畢業的學歷，錄取新加坡國立大學EMBA，成為台灣除了吳寶春之外，唯二破格錄取這間世界頂尖大學的人，「我一直想告訴年輕人，千萬不要太在意外界眼光，也不要認為學歷和文憑可以框架你想做的事，一定要培養獨立思考能力，並且認同自己、肯定自己，當你相信自己，就沒有人能阻止你了。」
