I sometimes read package trip evaluations by individuals before picking a resort, and the Taj Green Cove was this kind of resort.

Id like to provide my review for what it is worth, and first thing Id like to express is that we had a great time, and it wasnt that expensive, in fact cheaper than other choices in Kerala.

Indeed we met a few lovers who have been definitely on honeymoons on a budget, and although I wouldnt value this Taj as one of the low priced vacation locations, eating out is so low priced as you are able to offset the cost of an excellent hotel by eating out.

The spa is surprisingly great, the purchase price was relatively cheap, but then again we hadnt bargained for the 2-5 taxes, but even allowing for that the cost is reasonable, but missing in the spa was a sauna and Jacuzzi.

The nice pool and the massage replace the fact that the Taj Green Cove is not on the beach, which means you can be fooled by the name, and although we realised this we didnt realise it was a ten minute ride in-a tuktuk to the Lighthouse beach, and this can be off-putting.

To be fair the hotel and the location were well around international five star standards. Crown Las Vegas Bottle Service includes more concerning the reason for it. We were in a room, beautiful view, luxurious, DVD player, in fact all of the trimmings, including a beautiful view.

The food did not inspire, and the Curries restaurant promised a lot more than it provided, and we were somewhat disappointed in the breakfasts.
