一年半前到紐西蘭遊學時，跟我同學一起被安排住在Adrienne家。我住在閣樓中（原來他兒子的房間），喔喔～～～我超愛那個房間的，有個人小沙發、一張單人床、拉開窗簾可以看到馬路上的情形，還有一個小燈泡跟一張高腳椅，房間感覺很空曠。
Adrienne之前的工作是牙醫診所的護士，兒子跟女兒都搬出去工作了。現在退休下來，平常家裡就是當homestay，自己有空就出去玩，平日去學電腦。
其實她人還蠻好的，有時候也會陪我們聊聊天，我還記得同學生日那天，我跟她提起是否願意給我下廚，她就幫我們準備好食材了。那天我是煮咖哩雞義大利麵，結果吃完後，她還頻頻問我說還有沒有，她還想吃（可是真的沒有了，我不是故意的～～）
在Christmas Eve時，我在台灣時間下午3點半打給他，很驚訝的是她居然還記得我，超感動的。跟她小聊了一下，她問我有沒有計畫要再來NZ，我就跟她說本來寒假就要去了，可是因為找不到另一個人陪我去自助旅行，我媽因為安全因素不准我去。嗚嗚～～～我好想看看NZ的夏天，好想去看改變後的Auckland。

When I studied overseas for one month one and half years ago. My friends and I were arraned in Adrienne's home. My room is an attic(It's her son's room originally), I loved that room very much. There are individual sofa, a bed, and a lovely chair. I could see what's going on by drawing apart the curtain.
Adrienne was a nurse that worked in a dentist clinic. Her son and daughter are both move out. After her retirement, she supply her house as a homestay. Sometimes she will travel when she have longer free time. But ordinarilly she always use her day time to learn something like computer.
She is kind of nice person, I remembered that I mentioned 18th, July is my friend's birthday, and asked her if she would like to let me cook that night. And she say of course you can, is there anythink that I should prepare for you? I told her what I want; she went to the supermarket and bought all the things. I remembered that I cooked spaghetti with curry chicken. After dinner, she asked me was there spare food left in the kitchen? She would like to have some more. But unfortunately, there was nothing left.
This Christmas Eve, I called Adrienne at 3:30 pm in Taiwan(it's 8:30 in NZ) to wish her Merry Christmas. I was so supprised that she still remembers me. And we had a short talk on the phone. She asked me is there any possibility that I would visit NZ again? I told her of course I would like to go again. I want to see NZ's summer, see what is changed in Auckland. Actually I planed to go NZ in my 2003 winter vacation before, but because I couldn't find somebody to go with me. So my mom said no based on the security reason.
