悠閒好時光>尼加拉大瀑布 Niagara Falls

上星期跟教授聊到這個地方
Last week I was chatting with professor, and mentioned one place
教授說早期,這裡是美國人度蜜月的最佳地點之一
he said it's a best choice for honeymoon in early days
尼加拉大瀑布
it is Niagara Falls 


尼加拉大瀑布位在紐約州
it is in New York state (and of course Ontario, Canada)
(但離紐約很遠XD)
but it's far from New York city
這個瀑布跨了兩國領土
the falls located in two countries
美國和加拿大
USA and Cananda
我去的時候加拿大還沒有開放免簽
because it needs visa when I visited 
所以沒辦法到加拿大那邊看
so i didn't have a chance to go into Canada 
那裏的視野比較好
i've heard the view is way better
可以看到完整瀑布的樣子
cuz u can see the whole main fall


之前我們浩浩蕩蕩一群人半夜開車從俄亥俄州殺到那
there are maybe 20 of us, drive to the fall from Ohio in the middle of the night

一大清早空氣很好
it's perfect when we get there in the early morning,
the air is fresh
而且好多松鼠
and there are lots of squirrels :)
這個瀑布風景區很大, 一天可能還有點而趕
the whole park is quite big, might be a little rush if you only have one day
(尤其如果你還要到加拿大那邊看瀑布)
especially if u are going to Canada side


當然來到這裡非試不可的
you have to try the biggest star here
就是"霧中少女號"
The Maid of the mist
同樣可惜的是
but it's a shame that i don't have Canada visa
由於我到訪時加拿大還要簽證
when I visited :(
所以在美國這端搭的霧中少女號
so i can only take the boat in USA
只能很靠近大瀑布但不能像加拿大船一樣可以從底下穿過
u can get really close to the main fall, but unlike the Canadian one they can
actually pass under the fall i think 


比較小的叫馬蹄瀑布(又叫美國瀑布)
the smaller one is Horseshoe fall (aka American fall)
其實這個已經很大了
this one is quite big
(剛到那邊我們還以為這就是主角XD)
(we thought it is the main one when we first saw it lol)
霧中少女號離這個瀑布很近
the Maid of the Mist can get pretty close to this one
絕對是殺底片的景點
definitely will takes lot of room for ur SD card


再來就是靠近大瀑布了!!!
then the boat will get close to the main fall (aka Canadian fall)
整個人會被瀑布的水霧噴超濕
you will be splashy wet by the mist from the fall
(然後就看著船尾有加拿大國旗的船遙遙在前望塵莫及)
then u will see the boat with Canada flag get closer to the fall :(


但是不要灰心
but it's ok
這裡的景觀還是很美很好拍照~
there r still lots of places to take good pictures 


最好玩得我覺得是"風洞"
I love the "Cave of the Winds"
要穿上雨衣套上涼鞋(PS 可以帶回家)
you have to put on raincoat and wear their sandals (u can take that home!)
然後走這些步道~~
and go for a walk on those paths
很好玩很像僧侶XD
it's fun that it will makes u feel like a monk


但是因為我現在還在調時差
but right now im still suffering from jet lag
而且已經是四年前的事情了
and i went there 4 yrs ago
所以我真的記不太起來還有什麼
really can't remember much
我當時去又是集體行動
and it was a group of us
沒有什麼勇敢創舉哈哈哈
so i didn't do anything brave or different that time

倒是記得有一片草地上有好多情人或家庭
but there is a big lawn, so many couples and families reat on that
大家就躺在上面曬太陽看風景
lay on it and enjoying the sun and the scene
超悠閒的~
what a leisure day


教授說早期因為大家沒有這麼有錢
the professor said people are that rich in early days
蜜月不可能出國
so they cannot afford to go abroad for honeymoon
所以很多人都會把尼加拉瀑布當蜜月旅行景點
so lots of people take Niagara Falls as a best choice to go


加拿大端有很多賭場
there are many casinos in Canada
在那賭一把後說不定就可以出國度蜜月了(誤)
perhaps u can win money for going honeymoon abroad lol


但是整體風景來說
anyway, in general
我可能喜歡這裡的賭場勝過拉斯維加斯吧
i think i like the surroundings of these casinos than those in Las Vegas
(我明明就兩邊都沒去過)
(but i was in neither of them haha)


好啦我知道這篇遊記很不負責任
well i know this journal cannot compare with any of those I've wrote till now
可是四年前的是我真的不記得(哭)
but i really lost big part of my memory for things happened 4 yrs ago
但又很想鼓勵大家到這邊走走玩玩~~
however, I want to encourage people to go there

不要揍我XD
