    中原、大同、文化、實踐、中國科大等5所大學校長2日發表共同聲明，呼籲反課綱學生暫停抗爭活動，盡速撤離教育部，讓爭議回歸理性討論。聲明指出，他們十分痛心學生以激烈方式表達訴求帶來不良教育示範，憂心事件造成社會對立；他們譴責任何違法脫序行為，更強烈譴責有心人士介入炒作。他們也呼籲教育部邀請專家學者和學生代表充分溝通，尋求最大共識。
