This afternoon I hung pictures in one corner. I still need to hang the art above the crib and I need to buy the peg board and hang it and the accessories above the dresser. Hopefully tomorrow after church tomorrow we can stop at Lowes to buy it. The hubby replaced the blinds and fan with the new ones we bought on Friday. It's so nice that with his new(er) job he has one day off a week (he works 4 - 10s) and can get a few things done around the house.
I put the bedding in today even though we don't have the mattress yet. That is the last "big" purchase we really have and we will not need it for a little while because we have a bassinet/co-sleeper for the first few months so he can be next to the bed for when I feed him at night. Speaking of feeding we went to a breast feeding class Tuesday night. It was really informative - even the hubby learned a lot. The lactation consultant was a great teacher.
I am now meeting with my midwife every week since I only have four weeks left. I have officially switched to the midwives' office so I can meet with them each week and get to know them since they will be delivering me. I am planning a hypno-birth in the water (or at least labor in the water and birth wherever I end up). I am nervous and excited at the same time. I was a little worried about the hypno-birthing part because the psychologist that is training me got sick with pneumonia after our first session so I didn't know if he would get better and be able to do more sessions (he is about 80 years old) before I gave birth (that sounds selfish - but y'all know what I mean).
He is the sweetest man, and I'm really hoping these relaxation techniques help me. Every time he has me relax in his office Jensen moves around pretty much the whole time. This time even the psychologist could see him moving all over! Haha
So four weeks left...I can't believe it!
