When I had spent around five days in Denmark, I really could not resist giving this country a title- kingdom of bicycle. For example, in Copenhagen, there was a track on the road only for bicyclists. Also, Danish governors tried to encourage people to ride more bicycles instead of taking transportation. So, they bought many bicycles in the city, and any one could use any of them just pay 5 or 10 DK a day. What a sweet policy, don’t you think so? In Odense, I also found there was a machine near the main street which could test how many bicycles had passed by in one day. This machine was sponsored by a sport company. Aha…to my utmost surprise, I even found there were bicycle taxies in Copenhagen. Design of these bicycle taxies was quite cute and lovely. I started to wonder how Danish people could think of this great idea.
On May 16 Wan-Chen and I rode bicycle around Copenhagen. I had longed for this day for a long time because I felt riding bicycle around Copenhagen was romantic to me. So, you could feel how great happiness and excitement I had on that day.
We rode bicycle around the city and visited some scenic spots, such as Rosenborg Castle, Rosenborg Palace Garden, Nyhavm, Marble church, National Theater and so on. Due to the beautiful weather on that day, I felt that riding bicycle was the greatest choice for us. All in all, I enjoyed a lot on May 16 and I would like to forever title this country- kingdom of bicycle.
