~Sometimes, I am willing to travel abroad just because I want to have a stop of my original life and then experience something exotic. After that, I can come back to my original life with different attitude and keep on going~
This time I tried to travel to Denmark one more time for two main reasons. The first one is that I was pretty sick in the late December last year when I traveled to Denmark with Shannon and Ivy. During that time, I had no mood to experience this country at all. The second reason is that my friend, Wan-Chen, is an exchange student in Copenhagen Business School. I promised her to visit her while she visited me in the end of January this year in Stockholm. Therefore, due to these two main reasons, I decided to put my schoolwork aside and went for visiting Denmark one more time.
I took X2000 from Stockholm down to Malmo on May12 afternoon alone. Then, I needed to transfer train there and went to Copenhagen directly. In total, it took me around five hours to arrive at my destination- Denmark. Umm…traveling to Denmark from Stockholm by train was really convenient.
When I met Wan-Chen in the central station, I gave her a big hug happily. Then, we took to bus to the place she lived- Valby. On that night, I met most of her kind flatmates in the kitchen, and I ate Chinese noodles with Wan-Chen as well. Hehe…eating Chinese food was my request. Also, on that night, Wan-Chen helped me to schedule my trip in Denmark. Of course, this plan was so great that I was pretty sure that I was going to have great fun in the following days in Denmark.
Schedule as follows:
May13- Odense
May14- Tivoli and royal wedding ceremony
May15- Dannish Design Center& walking around city
May16- Ride bicycle around Copenhagen (Rosenborg Castle, changing of guard, Nyhavm…etc)
As a matter of fact, I went traveling alone for most of time because Wan-Chen would have exams on May15 and on May 19. But, I did enjoy myself traveling alone during the daytime . At night, I came back to her place to relax. Every night, we almost cooked together. One time she even gave me a surprise by making an Italian cake, Krusadata, for me. Also, we had a pretty long female talk every night. Therefore, for sure, I did have wonderful time in Denmark.
(P.S By the way, most of my friends in Sweden felt worried of me because I went traveling alone this time. But, as a matter of fact, I was not afraid or felt lonely at all. It was because I was quite lucky to meet some kind Swedish on the train. They helped to learn Swedish or they had a chat with me. So, somehow, I thought we did not need to build up a wall too high every time. Instead, open our heart and talk to strangers.)
