Microsoft Plans Xbox Game Aimed at Kids

Microsoft Corp. Wednesday said it would take a step towards correcting one of the weaknesses of its original Xbox with a new game for its Xbox 360 console aimed at young gamers called "Viva Pinata."

The title, due out by the holidays, is the first major push by Microsoft to broaden the audience for its new game console beyond so-called hardcore gamers with which the original Xbox is closely associated. With the new Xbox 360, Microsoft is eager to gain on Sony Corp., which outsold the original Xbox by about four-to-one with its PlayStation 2 console. FULL STORY
