Travis comes from the Republic of Texas, the once-thriving nation with a 12-year history later annexed by the USA. His unpopular president is also a Texan cowboy. But my classmates don't seem to like him and tend to bash Bush or criticize the Iraq war in class, even though Travis is nice guy from Texas...
He's a DJ at university, and has loads of experiences in documentary-making. Small wonder then that his one-minute film (assignment) was very well-received because it's very intriguing and creative.
Travis has a lovely girlfriend, Seung-A. The way they interact is fun to watch. Seung-A tends to “bully” and “bitch” about him, playing hard-to-get, but somehow Travis still treats her well. They are both lovely human beings.
